Missing Dog: We received a report of a missing dog from the area of Cloverleaf Road a few days ago. There is to be a German Shepherd seen around the area of Route 283 and Cloverleaf Road. It’s believed to be the same dog. If you see it, please give us a call and try to safely keep an eye on the dog while we respond out.

UPDATE 9:06pm - Cloverleaf Road is open!

UPDATE- Cloverleaf Rd. between Rt. 283 and Rt. 230 has opened and will be down to 1 lane until repairs are completed. Please use caution when driving through the affected area.

🚨ATTENTION🚨

Due to a downed pole, Cloverleaf Road will be shut down between Rt. 283 and Rt. 230/S. Market Street. Please avoid the area and find an alternate route. We are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Bentley is missing. He is a male golden doodle and is wearing a red collar/leash attached. He does have a microchip. Missing between Elizabethtown and Marietta (believed to have jumped out of an open car window). Please call our station with any sightings or if you have him 717-367-8481

Every year during the month of May, in recognition of Police week, members from the Northwest Regional Police Department select an Officer of the Year. This year Officer Seth Arnold was selected as the Officer of the Year. Officer Arnold was recognized for his outstanding work at last evenings Police Commission meeting. Officer Arnold also received the Officer of the Year award in 2018. Congratulations Officer Arnold for a job well done!

In 1962, President Kennedy proclaimed May 15 as National Peace Officers Memorial Day and the calendar week in which May 15 falls, as National Police Week. Established by a joint resolution of Congress in 1962, National Police Week pays special recognition to those law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty for the safety and protection of others.

This boy was found in the area of Musser Road in East Donegal Township. He was brought to our station after a concerned citizen picked him up and drove around trying to find his home. If you know where he belongs, please call our station at (717)367-8481.

‼️With the warm weather, residents may be noticing an increase of people soliciting door to door within the townships. Northwest Regional PD does require/enforce solicitation permits in Mount Joy Township, Lancaster County, PA and West Donegal Township (applications can be found on our website, www.nwrpd.org). Once a permit is approved, a permit is issued along with an ID badge which is to be carried at all times by the individual soliciting. Residents are permitted to ask to see the permit which must be furnished upon request. If you believe a person/persons are soliciting without a permit, please call the Lancaster County non-emergency dispatch center at 717-367-1835 and provide the dispatcher with a description (physical description of the individual, any vehicles driven and direction of travel/address). An officer will respond and make sure everyone is complying with the solicitation regulations.

At the April 23rd, 2024 Northwest Regional Police Commission meeting Waste Management Representatives Scott Perin and Paul Bermillo presented a check for $14,235.00 for the purchase of a new department DRONE. The Northwest Regional Police Department sincerely thanks Waste Management for their very generous donation and continued support.
