So - I did a thing or two in 2023 …
amidst recovering from my son’s horrific motorcycle wreck that landed him on life support for 3 days and in the hospital/rehab for 28 days. Yes, I needed recovering.

I did a thing or two in 2023…
amidst the heartbreak and pain that comes with betrayal and abandonment.

I did a thing or two in 2023…
amidst my industry imploding on itself affecting every independent pharmacy owner across the country and inciting fear into myself and colleagues.

I did a thing or two in 2023…
amidst the devastation of exile as the enemy caused isolation and separation from family and friends.

I did a thing or two in 2023…
at 56 years old, at a time in my life that I didn’t know what was happening as my brain abruptly just stopped ‘remembering’ things.

I completed my chronological bible and learned the CHARACTER of God …

Learning His character gave me peace in knowing He is FAITHFUL…even when others are not.

Knowledge of His faithfulness gave me STRENGTH to stand… even when I wanted to collapse.

His strength carried me back to ‘my stones on the bank of the Jordan’ which served as a MEMORIAL to the promises He gave me… even when they didn’t meet my deadlines.

The memorial gave me the COURAGE to fight for what He assured in victory… even when it felt like I was outnumbered and I was scared to go to war.

His courage EQUIPPED me with ‘the mind of Christ’… even when it felt like I was losing my own.

I received many battle wounds in 2023 - every one of them, He quickly ‘bound up and healed’… even if you can’t see them.

I was placed in the burning furnace in 2023 - and came out without a ‘scorch on my hem’… even if you can’t smell the smoke.

I suffered devastating loss in 2023…even if you think I had it all.

I withstood a level of rejection in 2023 that would have otherwise caused me to recoil and hide…even if you weren’t privy.

I, like some of you, saw a lot in 2023… but I also received many ‘Medals of Honor’ in 2023… even if you were unaware of my ‘rewards in the storehouse’.

He never left me.
He was never against me.
He turned His face toward me.
He heard my cries.
He answered me.
He healed me.
He rewarded me.

Yeah, I did a thing or two in 2023… and I got the college credit and the certificate to prove it…
