Often times there’s this misconception that pho is quick and easy but what many people don’t see is the labor of love that goes into this bowl right here.

It takes us 72 hours for us to simmer the broth to bring out depth of the beef flavor. Binded with all the aromatics like onions, ginger and spices topped off with all prime cuts gives you that addicting umami of flavor!

Nothing like a nice bowl of pho on this chilly day.

Soup weather coming in strong this morning! What’s been your go to item on the menu so far?

Noodles 101:

1. bánh phở tươi aka fresh pho noodles is what we serve with all of our pho’s by default. We get it delivered daily from our vendor who makes it the day prior! They have a silkier texture then the thin pho noodles. Fresh noodles are what you pretty much find all over vietnam. These are not gluten free Bc they do contain wheat starch.

2. bánh phở khô is what we all know growing up in the states. These noodles have preservatives for longer shelf life and they come dry in packaging. You may however sub out for what we call “thin pho noodles,” the texture is a bit bouncier and a bit more of a chew. These are GF.

3. Bún is our vermicelli noodles that come only in our bun bo. These are GF.

Saigon pho is what many of us are used too. It has all the different meat cuts served with side of veggies & fresh noodles (all of our pho’s are served by default fresh noodles). Don’t forget your pickled peppers & pickling juice in there!

Sauce pro tip: hoisin, Siracha, chili oil & pickled peppers just like shown above.

The beauty in hanoi pho is its simplicity. No additional side veggies needed. Wok fried ribeye with a whole lottaaa scallions served with dau chao quay (fried donut) to be dipped into your broth!

Pro tip: served with fried donut, squeeze the lime in your broth, add pickled peppers but don’t forget some of that pickling juice to your soup! Tag a friend!
