Franklin Elementary Staff was spoiled by the Franklin Elementary PTA and all of the families who donated items last week for Staff Appreciation Week! Daily snacks and treats were something fun to look forward to and were sincerely appreciated 😍😍😍 Sending all involved BIG THANKS❣

Congratulations to Mrs. Annette Jonson, the incredible 2nd grade teacher at Franklin Elementary School who is our 2024 Elk Grove Education Superhero Award Winner! We are so excited to celebrate her passion and drive for education, and the tremendous commitment she has for her students’ success!! She’ll receive the Golden Apple trophy, a $250 gift certificate for school supplies, a $2500 Huntington scholarship for a student from Franklin, and we’ll be organizing a celebration to honor her! We had over 2,000(!!!) votes from the community, and it was the CLOSEST vote we’ve ever had. So this year, we’d also like to recognize the 1st runner up, Ms. Zhu, the beloved computer and CREST teacher at Miwok Village! We will be presenting her with a $250 GC and some celebratory prizes. Congratulations, Ms. Zhu! You have so many students who raved about you and what a huge difference you've made for them. Village PTA
