Such a wonderful morning with our fellow Rotarians! President Robert recognized Denise Darnold Gaydos as Rotarian of the month for all that she does! This week’s unsung hero is Jeannine White. Our guest speaker was Luz Robles - Sacramento-Yolo Mosquito & Vector Control District- teaching us about how to stop the spread of mosquitos. She also signed the book we will be donating as a part of our literacy project. Such a lovely way to start our morning. We’d love for you to join us!
A great morning of fellowship this chilly morning at Rotary. We had fellow Rotarian Judge Dave Abbott speak to us on the Veterans Treatment Court. Kevin Spease presented him with a military pin on behalf of President Robert. Judge Abbott also signed a book we will donate as a part of our literary project for kids. President Robert presented Ngabonziza Philippe with an unsung hero award for the golf tournament professional photos. And we all had fun singing off key happy birthday to Anitra Koski.
This week’s breakfast we met at the Albiani Center where Aaron Clift from Allstate Insurance spoke to us regarding the state of home insurance here in California. President Robert asked our speaker to sign the book we will be donating to an elementary school to support our literacy goal. President Robert also honored Anitra Koski as this week’s unsung hero.
