With September, comes Labor Day, which means we move our monthly wine tasting to the second Monday of the month, September 9th! We will have 4 wines from Southern California and 4 cheeses to pair with each wine! Call 720.667.4781 to reserve your spot!

Let me tell you about the sauce on this salmon dish served at lunch! It's a Madeira maple glaze. It's so delicious you will want to drink it in a wine glass. You might get some funny looks, but we don't judge.

1 year ago, we weren't really hiring, but this guy kept calling and being very president we couldn't say no, and we are so glad we didn't!

Colin has been a wonderful part of our family and community. He always has a smile on his face, cares about One Barrel and represents us in the best light.

Burger special! Oscar fixed up this delicious bomb for you all. A Whiskey Bacon BBQ Burger with che/mozz, jalapeños and crispy shallots!

Last year, I lost my grandmother, who was one of my favorite mentors. She used to love hosting parties, chardonnay, and travel. Today, she would have been 96.

While going through her belongings, I found this beautiful paper in her handwriting. It is titled "To our guests". When I read it, I fell instantly in love with it, and it is how I view all the guests that float through the doors at One Barrel. I hope you take a minute to read the beautiful words she wrote out to her guests. If you know where it comes from, I'd love to know!

Join us for an open event with the Veterans Whiskey Society. Come by for a drink or participate in our unique whiskey flight showcasing 4 Penelope Bourbons. The flight is $30, and $5 of each flight purchased will be donated to the VWS's charity that helps fund missions related to the veteran and first responder community. We will be raffling off a bottle of Woody Creek Cast Strength Bourbon for the charity as well!

This month marked this lady's 2 years with us, and now is she is LEAVING! It is bitter sweet, to say the least. We are so excited for the new chapter that's taking her and her lovely family to Grand Junction but so sad that we won't be seeing her smiling face.
