Sponsored by Blue Ridge, this event promises to delight your taste buds, ears, and eyes! Other activities include music by The All Weather Band, visits with KPETS Therapy Dogs, demonstrations by Woven Together and Friends, printing your own ice cream flyer on a reproduction printing press, strolling the historic grounds and touring the original buildings, 18th century games available to play with friends/family, and engaging with local nonprofits to learn about the charitable history of Ephrata Cloister since 1732.

Yesterday, August 11th, 2024, the Historic Ephrata Cloister kicked off the Amphitheater Revitalization with a groundbreaking ceremony. A few of our keen-eyed residents have noticed that the beautiful Veterans Plaza at the Winters Leadership Memorial is missing a few things. Ephrata is in a constant state of forward motion and the Plaza is receiving a facelift of its own. The benches have been removed and are being repaired, we'll be sure to let you know when they are replaced!! Many thanks to Ephrata Amvets Post 136 Sons of Amvets for the time and materials donated and to Ingham's Powder Coating for powder coating the benches.

Next time you walk through the Whistle Stop Plaza, you'll notice that some things are missing. Mainspring is clearing the way for the shade system columns to be installed this Fall.
Trees needed to be removed to make room for the two columns being placed on either side of the pergola. Once all of the columns are placed, Mainspring will re-landscape the beds and restore our Plaza's beauty.
