Of all the pictures captured at Vida Sana, this is one of my favorite photos.
This is one of my favorite photos because I remember when this client first started at Vida.
She came in hoping for relief from sciatica.
Today, she has been coming in for more than a year consistently. Her sciatica has healed and it’s like she has a whole new body.
Like most clients and even our teachers, we started doing Pilates to help heal pain.
Pilates is so much more than getting “toned” or looking a certain way. For many, people come here to FEEL a certain way.

The Beginner Series meets every Thursday at 9 am beginning May 2nd for three consecutive weeks. Once completed, you will feel stronger, more flexible, and have a deeper understanding of the Pilates Reformer, Pilates principles, and Pilates Mat to feel comfortable going into other classes.

🚨This is not your standard mat class.
Our Pilates mat classes will use classical Pilates mats made of high-density foam that feels so good and supportive on your spine when you do that mat work.

We’re so excited to make this transition to our studio over the coming weeks.
👉 For those who are very experienced with Pilates, you’ll notice that we’ll be transitioning to classical equipment and style, adding in 6 Classical Reformers with Towers and 6 Chairs, and eliminating the contemporary reformers. If you’re not quite sure what Classical or Contemporary means, don’t worry – all this means is that we’re adding in more equipment to use to continue your progress in the studio.
👉 This is such an exciting transition for the studio and our teachers. As you know, we thrive on challenging ourselves and upholding the studio to the highest standard in the name of our clients.
✅ Continue to book classes as normal, we’ll support you through any of the transitions that you may have questions about. This is going to be a change that continues to progress your physical and mental journey, and we can’t wait for you to start feeling the benefits as Pilates was intended.

I remember the day I was sitting with friends over some wine, and they all told me I needed to open up my own studio.
I laughed. I thought they were clearly insane.
What they didn’t know was that I already was secretly manifesting a studio.
I had a binder with all sorts of things I collected over the years from studios I visited that I loved.
The studios that I loved have these things in common:

Quality instruction
Good vibes all around. (the clients, the teachers, and the owner)
The biggest driving force behind creating Vida Sana was that I wanted to create a beautiful and inspiring wellness place in Eureka, like the studios I visited.
Where people come together and inspire each other to give a s**t about their health and wellbeing.
