🍎🥪Eureka City Schools is pleased to announce that our Summer Community Meals program will return in 2024 with expanded access to service.

Starting June 24, 2024, and continuing through August 2, 2024, children 18 years of age and younger can access free nutritious meals from four designated sites Monday through Friday.

Primary Summer Community Meals Sites - Alice Birney and Fireman’s Park in Rio Dell - Meals accessed from these locations do not need to be consumed on-site and can be picked up and taken to go.

Hello everyone! My name is Ms. Kailey and I am a specialized instructional assistant here at Washington Elementary. This is my first year working in the schools but I am enjoying every second of it! When I am not at school, I enjoy traveling, working with animals, and spending time with friends and family.

Hi everyone! My name is Miss Paxton, and I am a specialized instructional assistant here at Washington Elementary. This is my first year working in a classroom and I love getting to make stronger relationships with kids! When I am not at school I enjoy reading, going to concerts, and spending time with my dog (I guess my family too). I'm so lucky I get to be an otter!!

Hello there! I'm Morgan Cummesky and this is my second year teaching 5th grade at Washington. My favorite part of teaching 5th grade is watching my students grow and succeed while trying new things. Outside of work, I enjoy crocheting, exploring outside, and listening to music. I love our amazing staff and being an Otter! 💙😀

Hi everybody! My name is Mr. Austin and I am a second year 5th grade teacher. I enjoy teaching all subjects, but really love science and P.E. I am so grateful to be a part of my students' journey in life and am excited to see the wonderful things they will accomplish in their futures.

Hi, I am Mrs. Rains and this is my 5th year at Washington 🦦, but my 22nd year teaching. I've taught every grade from TK-6th, and 5th is my favorite!!!! When I'm not at school, I love traveling, spending time with my family, and reading. 📚
