Two paint parties in one weekend! Another fun day with these ladies. I didn’t get a pic but I got to snuggle the cutest little one while they painted 💕And I forgot to get a group shot after they were finished but they sent some pics to me!
I’m headed to the library today (our internet went out last Tuesday and hasn’t come back on) to get things in order for Christmas themed party sign ups! Keep an eye out for more details.

I had a blast with these ladies today. They kept me entertained while they painted!

Prepping for two big paint parties this weekend! ❤️

We got power back Friday late afternoon so we decided to go ahead with today’s paint party since it was a small group. Two of the three ladies got to enjoy some air conditioning while they painted since they are both still without power.
These ladies did a great job and had lots of fun!

I hope everyone is doing well as we near the end of day 7. A full week of no power here at Rustic Works but we got a generator from a family member who got their power back last night so at least tonight we’ll have a fan!
Power has been restored on the main road all around us but our street is still out. There were some downed lines a couple houses from us so I think those will need to be taken care of before we get power.
The paint parties that were scheduled for this weekend (Oct 5 and Oct 6) will have to be rescheduled. I am so sorry but it’s out of our hands. I’ll work with you guys to get a new date booked as soon as possible.

It’s never too early to start your Christmas shopping! Finished up these stocking tags today. 🎄

I was in my office this morning working away and my sweet son cooks breakfast and brings me a bowl! 💙

I’ve looked at so many of these IKEA instructions booklets over the past few weeks and I’m over it! I assembled my final piece tonight for the offices. (I have to pick up additional shelves this weekend but no more assembly 🥳👏🏻)
I can’t wait to post pics of the new offices spaces after I’ve put everything away.

Where were you when you found out? I was holding my almost 1 month old when I got a phone call from my mom telling me to turn the tv on.
It’s a day we’ll never forget.

I’ve checked my calendar and I’ve listed the dates I have available for paint parties. I know several of you sounded like you had a group that wanted to participate together so please comment below with the date/dates that work best for your group.

It’s been way too long since we held a paint party. I’m wanting to open the next one up for adults and kids.
I’m gauging interest on these two projects. Let me know if you’d be interested in either of these.

We’re happy to announce that we’ve been invited by Heart + Soul: A Shared Space Salon to have some of our badge reels available at their shop! I took them down this afternoon and had to snap a pic of the sign we made them a couple months ago! 💙

We had a fun filled day today! Met up with other laser makers and then got my IKEA fix!
Anyone want to come help me put together 4 different IKEA furniture pieces?! 🤣

Woohoo! First run down. Lunch then off to shop upstairs!

Painting just one wall is a breeze! Now I’m ready for Saturday and our IKEA trip for my new office furniture. Ready to be organized as I prep for the 4th quarter (busy season).

If only my laser could do this type of work!
