The Mikey Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit, was created for the exclusive purpose of raising funds and supporting fund raising activities for the Michael J. Hendrickson Scholarship Fund in the University of Georgia College of Education.
The Michael J. Hendrickson Scholarship Fund was established in 2008 in memory of Michael Hendrickson, a loved son, brother and friend who was a senior in the College of Education at the University of Georgia. He suddenly died on December 1, 2007 from an acute case of Meningococcal Septicemia just before going beginning his Senior Internship Semester at Mistletoe State Park
