🌟 At the Mosaic Center, we believe that many hands truly lighten the load. Today, we’re especially grateful for our incredible Bags and Hugs team whose labor of love was poured out to serve our veterans at the VA. Your dedication and hard work make a world of difference. Thank you for your unwavering support and commitment to our mission! 💪🎖️

Come and support the work of one of The Mosaic Center's community partners, The Center for New Beginnings (CFNB) on Saturday, August 10 from 1-4pm. This is CFNB's 2nd Annual Dessert Dazzle. Last year was both informative and delicious! They will have a variety of delicious desserts from around the CSRA, present on the services and impact of their clinics, and have a silent auction -- there are 10 baskets to bid on! Tickets are $30 per person and directly support CFNB. Purchase your tickets here: https://buff.ly/3WqZddM

CFNB is a non-profit Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Therapy clinic in the CSRA. Clinic locations include Waynesboro, Millen, and Evans -- their Evans clinic is housed at Mosaic and uses the children's ministry space Monday-Friday. CFNB provides services for multiple diagnosis, but especially children on the Autism Spectrum. As a non-profit agency, CFNB strives to provide services to families and children who are on the margins, especially those with financial barriers and location barriers (rural communities). We are blessed to partner with the Center for New Beginnings day in and day out!

Goodwill Sunday is March 17! (That's THIS Sunday!) Mosaic will be collecting gently used items in the Gathering Space during church services (8:45am to 1:00pm). Once the collection bins are full, Goodwill will send The Mosaic Center five $50 store vouchers (per bin) to distribute to our neighbors in need.

Who will this help? Examples include:
- Families receiving subsidized therapy through The Center for New Beginnings
- Maxwell House residents emerging from homelessness
- Graduating GED students in need of interview or work clothes
- Families/individuals experiencing emergencies such as job loss or house fires

The Mosaic Center would like to thank everyone who participated in this week's trunk-or-treat for The Center for New Beginnings! This fun fall event was designed to meet the specific needs of these amazing kids by creating a slower-paced environment without sensory overload. Together, we practiced having conversations and meeting new people!

We are BLESSED to host The Center for New Beginnings' Evans Clinic during the week. If you are interested in volunteering with children on the autism spectrum, please email Sara at [email protected].

It's almost here! Starting on October 1, public sales of The Mosaic Center "Eye on the Sparrow" Christmas ornament will begin. Each handmade, stained glass bird represents how our heavenly Father sees and cares for all of us -- even the birds of the air (Matthew 6:26) -- with a gentleness that surpasses human understanding.

Each ornament is $20, and 100% of the profits will support Mosaic Center programs for those on a spectrum of physical and developmental abilities.

Supplies are limited, but you can guarantee availability if you pre-order by September 17 -- just email [email protected] with the number of ornaments you'd like to reserve!
