Our Story

Welcome to Gather! Evanston's only community art studio and play space. Drop in for creative art and play anytime. Join in a parenting, movement, music, storytelling or art class; check out our playdough table, paint a picture, draw on our giant chalkboard; or exercise your imagination at the train table, grocery store, puppet theatre, kitchen and dress-up station in our playspace. Gather also features a gallery space for professional artists' work to encourage and model engagement with one's creativity throughout the lifespan. Caregivers are invited to enjoy a complimentary cup of coffee or tea, carve out meaningful play time and take in the work of local artists in our welcoming, creative space.

At Gather, we want you to feel right at home. Our goal is to provide a space for growth, community, connection, and imagination.
