This couple loved superheroes. So I hired Chicago caricature artist Chuck Senties to create this poster for them! This was 9 years ago. Time is flying! I still love doing this stuff to help celebrate couples.

Last night’s couple met while studying in China. I made a poster for them “MADE IN CHINA”. I used their wedding date as the UPC code. I did some research and found the most common Chinese wedding wishes and added them on the poster. Guests all signed it.

Such an incredible wedding on Saturday! Levi and Bridget met at the Disney College program. They’ve been Disney fans ever since! We learned 6 Disney songs for them and I made with poster which all their guests signed. I love making people happy for a living. And they lived happily ever after…

I love walkthroughs. Not only is it important to review the schedule and set up locations, but it really builds a great sense of teamwork that you just can’t get from emails and calls. I love when couples invite me to come. I live in Evanston and the walkthrough was in St. Charles, I was happy to make the trip. Team Lexie and John. 🥰

This couple met in High School chemistry class. It was the first full 11-Piece orchestra wedding we played after COVID.

After Monday’s event we played I brought as many flowers as I could fit in my car to the Alden Rehabilition and nursing home.i loved chatting with the seniors. This is our Share Your Love program. 🥰💐👴🏻👵🏼

Had a great workshop with friend and marketing mentor, Alan Berg. Always good to keep learning and sharing ideas about how to navigate the ever changing wedding industry!

This couple had their first date at a bar in the city called Sully’s. I drove there to see if they had anything I could use as a gift for the bride and groom. They didn’t have have T-Shirts or Hats, so they took me down into the basement to see what they could find. I spotted this co****le board way back in the corner. It was really dusty. I bought it, cleaned it up and brought it to the wedding which all their guests signed. I love trying to find something special as a symbol of their unique love story!

The bride works for ADP. The groom works for Paychex. For their special gift on Saturday, I created this Publisher’s Clearhouse sized check. The check number in the upper right corner is their wedding date. The account numbers at the bottom are their birthdays. It was held at the Artifacts Events. All their guests signed the giant check. We played the groom’s brother’s wedding 9 years ago!

I loved sponsoring a little baseball team! They let me give a pep talk at the beginning of the season. I gave each player some of my Cubs memoriabilla. The kids signed a custom bat for me too. They were even a Championship team in their league. I love to help the community. Here are some of the other things we do to help out a little.

This is a gift I made for a couple that met at Maine West working on the school newspaper. I did some research and recreated what the paper looked like in 2006 when they met. Thomas and Olivia both went to U of Michigan and love watching games together. For their special gift, I got them a U of M snack helmet. A few years ago we played a wedding in Old Town for a couple that had an adorable 3-year-old daughter. She was hilarious. Later I saw her crying at one of the tables. I asked her what was wrong. She said she didn't get a ring like her parents. so I ran down to Walgreens a few blocks away and picked her up her own very special ring, a pop ring! You would have thought I went to Tiffany's. She ran around to every table showed EVERYONE her fancy ring. Her 2-year-old niece wanted to one too, so I made another trip and got her one too. Love little moments like this!
