I've been quiet on here lately, but we have been very busy at the office during the Open Enrollment Period for both Medicare and the Marketplace. It has been a very productive and enjoyable season!

CMS has recognized me as a member of the Marketplace Circle of Champions for 2023 after helping more than 20 consumers enroll in Marketplace coverage (in Indiana) during the 2023 Open Enrollment. As a , I’m excited to help consumers find and access quality health coverage.

There are some substantial changes coming to Medicare and Marketplace plans starting in January! A couple of the notable changes include:

- People on Medicare who get insulin will pay no more than $35/month for a 30-day supply.
- People with Medicare drug coverage will pay nothing out-of-pocket for recommended adult vaccines recommended by ACIP, including the shingles, starting in 2023.
- Many consumers will benefit from lower health care premiums through 2025 on Marketplace plans.

Medicare Part A & Part B premiums, deductibles and coinsurance amounts for 2023 were released today. Good news! In 2023, the standard monthly premium for Part B will decrease to $164.90 and the annual deductible will also decrease to $226. https://go.cms.gov/3SxMDpu
