Crispy Fried Chicken
Ingredients:
1 whole chicken, cut into pieces
1 quart buttermilk
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon black pepper
1 tablespoon paprika
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Vegetable oil for frying
Directions:
Soak chicken pieces in buttermilk for at least 2 hours or overnight.
Mix flour, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper.
Heat oil to 350°F (175°C).
Coat chicken in flour mixture.
Fry until golden brown, 8-10 minutes per side.
Drain on paper towels.

Zesty Lemon Pull-Apart Rolls
Ingredients:
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup whole milk
1/4 cup unsalted butter
1 large egg
Zest of 2 lemons
1/2 cup lemon curd
1/4 cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp lemon juice
Directions:
In a large bowl, combine 2 cups of flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
In a small saucepan, heat milk and butter over medium heat until the butter is melted and the mixture is warm (not hot).
Add the milk mixture and egg to the flour mixture and beat until smooth. Stir in the lemon zest.
Gradually add the remaining flour to form a soft dough.
Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead until smooth and elastic, about 6-8 minutes.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.
Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 pieces. Flatten each piece into a small rectangle, spread with lemon curd, and roll up tightly.
Arrange the rolls in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise until doubled, about 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
In a small bowl, mix powdered sugar and lemon juice to make a glaze. Drizzle over the warm rolls before serving.

Chocolate Chip and Banana Muffins
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter, melted
2 cups mashed overripe bananas (about 6)
3 large eggs
2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 cup mini chocolate chips (6 ounces)
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F and line two 12-cup muffin tins with liners.
In a large bowl, combine the sugar, melted butter, bananas, and eggs; mix thoroughly.
In a medium bowl, whisk the flour with the baking soda and salt.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and whisk until the batter is evenly moistened.
Stir in the chocolate chips.
Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin cups.
Bake for about 28 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs attached.
Let the muffins cool for 10 minutes before turning them out onto a rack to cool completely.

Apple Fritter Cake
Ingredients
* Cake
* 1 tbsp cinnamon
* ¼ tsp salt
* 4 tsp baking powder
* 2 tsp vanilla
* 6 apples of choice, peeled and cored, then diced
* 3 cups of flour
* 1 cup of sugar
* 1 ½ cups of milk
* 2 eggs
* ½ cup melted butter
* Topping
* 1 cup butter
* 2 tbsp flour
* 1 cup brown sugar
* 1 tbsp cinnamon
* Glaze
* 2 cups powdered sugar
* 1 tsp vanilla
* 5 tbsp milk
Instructions
FIRST STEP:
Preheat the oven to 350*
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cinnamon, salt, baking powder, flour, sugar, milk and the eggs. Combine well, then add in ½ of the diced apples and stir well
SECOND STEP:
Using the low speed on the electric mixer, slowly drizzle the melted butter into the batter while continuing to mix.
Grease a 9x13 baking pan
THIRD STEP:
Pour the batter into the pan
Sprinkle some of the remaining apple pieces onto the top of the batter
FOURTH STEP:
In a separate bowl, mix together the ingredients for the topping and combine well
Place scoops of this thick mix over the batter
FIFTH STEP:
Take a butter knife and run it through the thick batter and the cake to somewhat give a marble effect.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean
SIXTH STEP:
When the cake cools completely, drizzle the entire top with the glaze mix.
Then hide the cake so no one else knows it is there, you can have it to yourself!

Seafood Lasagna
Ingredients :
9 uncooked lasagna noodles
1 tablespoon butter
1 cup minced onion
1 ½ cups cottage cheese
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 large egg, beaten
2 teaspoons dried basil leaves
½ teaspoon salt
⅛ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
2 (10.5 ounce) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 pound cooked small shrimp
1 (6 ounce) can crabmeat, drained and flaked
⅓ cup milk
⅓ cup dry white wine
½ cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Directions :
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Bring a pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook lasagna noodles in boiling water until al dente, 8 to 10 minutes; drain, then rinse in cold water. Set aside.
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook and stir onion in hot butter until tender. Remove the skillet from heat and stir in cottage cheese, cream cheese, egg, basil, salt, and pepper until well combined. Set aside.
Mix together condensed soup, shrimp, crabmeat, milk, and wine in a large bowl until combined; set aside.
Lay 3 cooked lasagna noodles on the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish. Spread 1/3 of the onion mixture over noodles, then cover with 1/3 of the soup mixture. Repeat noodle, onion, and soup layers 2 more times. Top with Cheddar and Parmesan cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven until heated through and bubbly, about 45 minutes.
Deep-Fried Cheesecake Bites
Ingredients
For the Cheesecake:
8 oz cream cheese, softened
2.5 oz whipping cream (5 tbsp)
1 oz granulated sugar (2 tbsp)
¼ tsp vanilla extract
¾ cup graham cracker crumbs (divided)
For the Batter:
1¾ cups all-purpose flour
2 tbsp granulated sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1-1¼ cups milk
Pinch of salt
Powdered sugar (for dusting)
32 oz oil (canola, vegetable, or grapeseed) for frying
Instructions
Prepare Cheesecake Bites: Mix cream cheese, whipping cream, sugar, and vanilla. Form into balls, coat with graham cracker crumbs, and freeze for 1 hour.
Make Batter: Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and milk to create a thick batter.
Fry: Heat oil to 375°F. Dip frozen cheesecake bites in batter and fry until golden brown. Drain and dust with powdered sugar.

Apple Pie Cookies 🍏🍪
Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1/4 cup ice water
- 2 medium apples, peeled and finely diced
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Coarse sugar (optional, for sprinkling)
Directions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour and salt. Cut in the cold butter using a pastry cutter or two forks until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Gradually add the ice water, mixing until the dough comes together. Divide the dough in half, wrap each half in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
3. In a medium bowl, combine the diced apples, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Mix well and set aside.
4. On a lightly floured surface, roll out one portion of the dough to about 1/8 inch thickness. Use a round cookie cutter (about 3 inches in diameter) to cut out circles from the dough. Place the circles on the prepared baking sheet.
5. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the apple filling onto the center of each dough circle. Roll out the second portion of dough and cut out more circles. Place these circles over the apple filling and press the edges with a fork to seal.
6. Brush the tops of the cookies with the beaten egg wash and sprinkle with coarse sugar if desired.
7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cookies are golden brown.
8. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Salmon Burgers with Basil Mayo
Ingredients:
For the salmon burgers:
500g salmon fillets, skinless and boneless
1 garlic clove, minced
Zest of 1 lemon
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 burger buns, halved and toasted
Lettuce leaves, tomato slices, and red onion slices, for serving
For the basil mayo:
4 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Instructions:
Prepare the Salmon Burgers:
Finely chop the salmon fillets or pulse in a food processor until coarsely ground.
In a bowl, combine the chopped salmon, minced garlic, lemon zest, chopped parsley, chopped dill, chopped chives, salt, and pepper. Mix well until evenly combined.
Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into burger patties.
Cook the Salmon Patties:
Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
Cook the salmon patties for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Prepare the Basil Mayo:
In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, chopped basil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
Assemble the Burgers:
Spread a generous amount of basil mayo on the bottom half of each toasted burger bun.
Place a lettuce leaf on top of the basil mayo, followed by a cooked salmon patty.
Top with tomato slices and red onion slices. Cover with the top half of the burger bun.
Serve:
Serve the salmon burgers hot, accompanied by your favorite sides.

Sweet Alabama Pecan Bread
Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup chopped pecans
How To Make Sweet Alabama Pecan Bread
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a 9-inch loaf pan.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In a large bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Stir in the vanilla extract.
Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with the buttermilk and mixing well after each addition.
Fold in the chopped pecans.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the bread comes out clean.
Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove it from the pan and let it cool completely on a wire rack.
Slice and serve the bread, and enjoy!

- 1 medium head cabbage (3 pounds)
- 1/2 pound uncooked ground beef
- 1/2 pound uncooked ground pork
- 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce, divided
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup uncooked long grain rice
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon snipped fresh dill or dill w**d
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar

1. **Prepare the Cabbage:**
- Cook the cabbage in boiling water until the outer leaves pull away easily from the head. Set aside 12 large leaves for the rolls.
2. **Prepare the Filling:**
- In a small bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, 1/2 cup tomato sauce, chopped onion, uncooked rice, dried parsley flakes, salt, dill, and cayenne pepper. Mix well.
3. **Assemble the Rolls:**
- Cut out the thick vein from the bottom of each cabbage leaf, making a V-shaped cut.
- Place about 1/4 cup of the meat mixture on each cabbage leaf.
- Overlap the cut ends of the leaf, fold in the sides, and roll up from the cut end.
4. **Prepare the Dutch Oven:**
- Slice the remaining cabbage and place it in the bottom of a Dutch oven.
- Arrange the cabbage rolls, seam side down, over the sliced cabbage.
5. **Prepare the Sauce:**
- In a bowl, combine the undrained diced tomatoes, sugar, and the remaining tomato sauce.
- Pour the mixture over the cabbage rolls.
6. **Cook:**
- Cover the Dutch oven and bake at 350°F until the cabbage rolls are tender, approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
7. **Serve:**
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your stuffed cabbage rolls!
