Subs for bca needed!!! We are likely going to need some subs this Thursday for BCA at the Golden Fleece. We won’t know until wed night (lots of our players also play apa, and it’s qualifiers this wed/thu/sat/sun. Schedule based on win or lose on wed night.) Please let me know if you can sub on Thursday, and I will know for sure Wed night!

For our league members, I want to share a public statement I posted to the WBCA page today ahead of the April 14 meeting. Our sanctioning with WBCA has been denied, without any direct communication from WBCA in sixteen weeks. While I can't do anything about that decision, I can make sure that it is known by the voting membership of WBCA. Onward.

Cascade BCA Pool League Tuesday Singles Division starts next week! April 2. We are creating high/low divisions for this session!

Details:
Begins Tuesday, April 2
9 ball
7 foot tables
Approximately 8 weeks of play, TBD after Divisions are full.

High and Low Divisions (divisions determined after sign-ups are complete to divide the player pool evenly. The aim is to have two divisions, over/under ~500.)

Low Division begins at 6 pm and plays a race to 7
High Division begins at 8 pm and plays a race to 9

The overall MVP of both Divisions who has the highest win percentage of their Division round robin gets their entry paid and a travel stipend for the Vegas national CSI BCA competition in 2025!

We are excited to bring the tour to a couple of new areas this year that have been asking for stops! (We see you Canada, but you are a touch more complicated😅)
We've also added a 7th stop so that players have more chances to compete after a record-breaking increase in participation last year. 💪Thank you all!
We welcome our regional players as well as others who may want to travel to our stops (pros and juniors too!)
Venues that allow minors are: Ox, Legacy, Bobalou and Legends.

🎱VENUE: We are headed to play 10ball at one of our favorite rooms for Tour Stop #1, Players Sports Bar & Grill in Kennewick, WA! This fantastic venue has 10+ DIAMOND tables, Littman Lights, Predator balls & is in the process of installing EvoSports stream equipment-a pool players' paradise! In order to run a smooth tournament on the number of available tables at the venue, this event will be capped at 48 players.

🛎HOTEL: There is a 20 room block at Clover Island Inn for April 26th & 27th. The block group name is "NWPA 2024" and you must call them directly for the rate. Ph: 509-586-0541.
Block is released April 12th.

☑️ENTRIES:
NWPA will only be accepting entries via our entry webpage now and can no longer accept promises of cash paid on site. It is unfair to waitlist unpaid folks in favor of those paid. Our web payments have been updated to accept credit card, or PayPal. The only way to ensure you are on the list for an event is paying through the website. To enter, go to playnwpa.com/entry and follow the instructions. We are also rewarding our members and from March 26 through April 5 we are in the Early Bird window, and only members can pay entry to the tour stop. On April 6 non-members will then also have access to enter the tour stop.

Cascade BCAPL is in the house! This is a fun east coast regional that attracts players from Florida to Maine. And yes, WA state players can qualify for it just like other CSI regionals in Michigan, Wisconsin, Oklahoma, Ohio, and others. Ask Eric S. Townsend for more information.

Two of our members are in the 8Ball Platinum singles and 8Ball Platinum teams fields for this east coast BCA championship. Eric S. Townsend and Gwen Townsend split time between VA and WA.
