Often, patients have chronic illnesses like Type 2 diabetes, heart disease, or chrinic pain. They tell me they wished they knew what I was teachii I ng them years ago. They wish they could have taken better care of their bodies and minds and possibly prevented suffering.
If we don’t actively take a part in our health and wellbeing, we are losing an opportunity to make our live better. To prevent disease. To improve our mental health. To be happy.

I love yoga. I am a little biased,since I have been practicing since age 10. Yoga is healing in body, mind and spirit. It get into thise small deep muscles and help release emotions, stress and discomfort.
As you age, you lose flexibility. Yoga is a great exercise to increase flexibility and strength, as well as an excellent mind body modality.
For those who are hypermobile, it might not be the best exercise, or have certain injuries, medical conditions or have had surgeries. Yoga is mostly modifiable. It suits a variety of ages and body types.
Yoga is teaches breathing and can be a great stress reliever as well.
