People For Cats
We are a non-profit no kill organization that is run solely by volunteers on donated funds, food.
People for Cats also finds suitable homes for adoptable homeless cats. Each calendar year we are proud that we have placed approximately 250 cats in homes. We also reduce the feral population with our trap,spay/neuter
and release program. We want to educate the public on how to prevent overpopulation, the importance of taking their pets to the vets once a year for booster shots and a general heal

Mustard has found his forever home today with Elizabeth who has another former PFC cats. Be happy.
Minky is a pretty ebony domestic short hair female. This 6 year old has a shiny black fur coat accented with big expressive golden eyes. She is a shy lady, who is gentle and sweet when she gets to know you a bit. Minky came to PFC in search of a loving "fur-ever" when her previous owner passed away. She is spayed, up to date on her shots, and microchipped. She would probably do best in a quiet, calm home where she can be cherished for the sweet lady she is. Does Minky sound like a good match for you? If yes, why not come in to meet her?
To meet Minky at PFC you must have an application on file with us and been pre-approved to adopt a cat. Our adoption hours are intended for pre-approved adopters. An application for pre-approval to adopt can be picked up at the shelter during adoption hours or sent by email to be filled out and brought in. Once you have been pre-approved, you are welcome to come to the shelter during adoption hours to be shown the cats
Look who found his very own family, yep Indiana who has been a real favorite of all the volunteers he will be terribly missed but we are excited to see that George and mom and dad Natalie and Albert are taking him home to their other cat. Lots of fun for everyone.
Two H Kittens
HANI
I am Hani, and I am a very sweet and dainty 5-month-old mostly-black kitten. I have a pretty white patch or two on my underside, and, I have a long black spider-monkey tail to complete the picture. I am very alert and active and I do like to chase & play, especially with tiny, furry mouse toys. But hereās the best part: my foster mom calls me her āZen kitty,ā because I am so loving, and I like nothing better than settling on your lap or shoulder to bring soothing energy to any situation. Come get me and my brother, Huey, if you are looking for the love of your life!
HUEY
Do you need a handsome orange tabby boy to complete your family? Well, thatās me, Huey! I am energetic (believe me, I can jump), and I love leaping at wand toys and running after my favorite, noisy critter toys. Despite being an athlete, I am also a very good-natured/affectionate kitten, and will seek out humans to pet me and play with me. Better yet, I always reward them with my wonderful loud purr! My tiny sister, Hani, and I perfectly complement each other, so bring us to our forever home soon, please.

Indiana (aka Indy) is a spunky 6 months old neutered male kitten. He is always the first one to greet you at the door and the last to say goodnight at bedtime. He enjoys cuddling with his favorite human, getting ear scratches, and heāll never say no to a treat. He can get a little wild over food and can be very vocal about wanting all of it. Heās learned some patience since being fed separately from his siblings and would continue to benefit from this. As much as Indy loves his siblings, heās an independent guy who would love to meet another cat he could wrestle and chase.
To meet Indiana at PFC you must have an application on file with us and been pre-approved to adopt a cat or kittens. Our adoption hours are intended for pre-approved adopters. Kittens are adopted in āpairsā unless there is a single kitten and that would require another cat at home..
Meet Keegan and Kingsley, a very handsome pair of bonded orange tabby brothers! Like all little boys, they are very energetic ā they love to run, jump, play and wrestle with each other making for lots of fun and entertainment in the household. When playtime is finally over (it takes a while!), you will find them curled up together or grooming each other. This is the best time to show them hands on attention and petting as they are still building trust with humans. Can your home show them that extra bit of patience and gentle love in the beginning so these adorable boys can settle happily in a new forever home together?

Meet Mustard, a 7-month-old kitten with a sleek gray coat and striking yellow eyes that perfectly match his lively spirit. Mustard is a social little guy who loves being around people, often greeting you with affectionate head bumps and a steady purr. He enjoys playtime as much as he enjoys a cozy nap, often curling up right next to you when it's time to rest. Mustard is also a big fan of mealtime and takes pride in his clean, well-groomed appearance. He's ready to bring joy, fun, and companionship into his forever home!

Tooch is a striking dark tortoiseshell domestic short hair female. This lady is 9 years of age and has a dark coat of black fur marbled with orange. She is a sweet and affectionate cat who finds herself needing a new home. Tooch came to PFC after her owner passed away. She is spayed, up to date on her shots, and microchipped and would now like to find a loving "fur-ever" home. She readily passed her senior blood panel, but she does need to lose some weight to get to a healthier size. Tooch has lived with dogs and other cats in the past, but might be happiest being an only pet. Are you the special person who is ready to give her a second chance at a family of her own?

Sure wish we had known the real story of this beautiful kitty.
If you love tortoiseshell kitties, wait until you see me! I am Harriett, and my foster mom says Iām the āPrincess Dianaā of torties. I am 5 months old and sport the most beautiful, marbled short-haired coat and huge round eyes that make me look constantly surprised ā but donāt be fooled, I am very smart/energetic. I LOVE play sessions ā please, toss me balls, little mice and kick toys until I drop. I can be very affectionate, but I stay busy, so I prefer being petted by and playing with my person rather than being held or sitting on a lap ā thatās my tortie independent streak. Iām also be a little shy at first, but once weāre friends, Iāll reward you with my many silly antics and my very loud purring. Come get me now, tortie lovers!

Picasso is a stunning gray domestic medium hair male. This boy is 3 years old and has a fluffy soft coat of gray fur with very faint tabby markings. He is an absolute love who adores being petted and loves to cuddle. Once he is comfortable with you he will head butt you to get extra loving. Picasso came north from Florida in hopes of finding a loving "fur-ever" home. He loves to be around people and would do best in a home where his people are around a lot. He would also be compatible with another easy going, accepting cat. Picasso is up to date on his shots, neutered and microchipped. Now all he needs is that special someone to make his life complete.
