The Fargo Salvation Army filled our buckets when we volunteered there helping prepare and serve food earlier this week. We're grateful for this incredible organization and the connections we were able to make with the patrons. They are always looking for more volunteers - consider this your nudge to reach out and get involved!

Construction management alumni build the future of Moorhead Ben Naylor (‘16) and Aaron Neppl (‘18), graduates of MSUM’s construction management program, are now transforming visions into reality by leading Moorhead community construction projects.

The new Fire Hall in Dilworth, is coming out of the ground and about to go vertical!

‼️Construction Update‼️

Work got underway for the new fire hall in mid-April. Crews started with asbestos abatement inside the community center, site prep, and demolition. There were a few delays from mid-May into the start of June with the abundance of rain, but the underground utility work is now finished and much of the concrete work (foundations) is set. Next will be construction going "vertical," with the setting of pre-cast walls and parking lot prep.

Yesterday was a perfect day to 🥳 celebrate the groundbreaking of the new Fire Station 👩‍🚒 for the Dilworth Fire Department! The community support of this project has been tremendous and we are honored to be a part of it.

Great progress happening on our job site at Park Christian School in Moorhead! Excited for these new classrooms to be filled with kids this fall.

We took a few hours to help inventory all the furniture and other items at Furniture Mission of the Red River Valley today as part of United Way of Cass-Clay's Day of Action. We left feeling proud to be a small part of their mission to serve our community. FUN FACT: last year they served over 730 families with nearly 9,300 pieces of furniture! We recommend checking them out if you have time, talents or treasures you want to donate.

Grateful for this early spring weather that has allowed us to get a jump on some of our projects like the addition at Park Christian School in north Moorhead!

It's ABLE Games weekend here in Fargo/Moorhead and we were already feeling the energy and inspiration yesterday when we volunteered helping to set up for the event. Wishing all the TNT Kid's Fitness & Gymnastics athletes GOOD LUCK as they compete to their best abilities this weekend!

Construction progress with Clay County MN on both the new Withdrawal Management Detox Facility and the DMV has greatly benefitted from the mild winter we have had! Residents from the City of Moorhead, Minnesota and Clay County at large are going to see a multitude of benefits when these new buildings are complete.

We enjoyed supporting our colleagues from Zerr Berg Architects as they took the Polar Plunge 💦 supporting Special Olympics North Dakota this past weekend, making good on our shared partner challenge from Giving Hearts Day 2024. We loved supporting the missions of Moorhead Legacy Education Foundation, Fargo Public Schools Foundation and Alumni Network, and Park Christian School through our fundraising efforts...and staying dry and warm was just the icing on the cake🎂!

Part of the joy of working on school projects is the contagious excitement the kids have for watching the construction activities happening!

Phase II of the New Moorhead High School has officially begun today as construction crews begin demolishing the original high school. This will clear space for the final wing of the new high school to be constructed which will host space for music, arts, performances and administration offices/support spaces.

The Moorhead Legacy Education Foundation has reserved a limited number of bricks from the original building for interested community members.

We're honored to have served as the Construction Manager for this project. Congratulations to Zerr Berg Architects for this amazing achievement! 🥳

Today we were honored to join Trinity Lutheran Church - Moorhead in celebrating the Topping Off of the church's new addition. This milestone was commemorated by allowing members of the congregation, architectural team and construction management staff to sign the beam and watch as it was hoisted into the air and secured in place. A temporary steel cross was added to the top of the addition where it will stay until roofing goes up.

Thank you to everyone who helped our teams get to this point, we're excited to continue working on this project and to watch its progress! 😄
