When we opened the doors for our first patients on July 5th 1984 we never imagined how quickly time would pass. Thirty-nine years later we find that the time has come for us to transfer the operations of our office to another dentist. We are excited to tell you that beginning August 18, 2023, Dr. Reem Saywa will assume the responsibility for our patients and practice. We have sincerely enjoyed having you in our practice and becoming acquainted with you both personally and professionally. It has not been easy to make this decision because you are such wonderful people and have brought so much to our lives.

Dr. Saywa is a 2010 graduate of University of Detroit Mercy, School of Dentistry and has been practicing dentistry in the area for several years. In our discussions with her, we have gained confidence that Dr. Saywa is committed to the quality of dentistry, patient care and treatment philosophy you have received from us over the years. Dr. Romzick will continue to provide care in the office and work with Dr. Saywa to help her gain familiarity with the patients and practice as she grows as a leader and becomes an outstanding dental provider for you. Dr. Clark will become the full-time Director for the dental residency program at Trinity Health Oakland Hospital in Pontiac.

All of your existing scheduled appointments will remain the same and Dr. Saywa will have possession of your dental records. We sincerely hope that you will continue your care with Dr. Saywa. We are confident you will be in good hands with her, Dr. Romzick and all the familiar faces of the team who remain to help with a smooth transition

Patrick, who turned one last week, enjoyed the attention from our team who were very anxious to meet him, though he didn't quite know what to make of the office...

Spring Cleaning at the office 2022! We have a crew come in after hours every evening to do the day-to day- upkeep but once a year, we dig deep into the nooks and crannies to give our patients and team the cleanest dental office in which to receive and provide care.
Jennifer and Dr. Romzick were here too....but they are behind the camera taking photos.

Walking Our Talk....
We talk daily with patients about dental implants when we see an individual who needs a tooth replaced. Dental implants have natural comfort, appearance and a predictable outcome which is why they are the preferred treatment for tooth replacement.
Dr. Romzick recently lost a tooth due to a bad crack that could not be restored (yes, even dentists can have this happen!) and the location was ideal for a dental implant. Dr. Clark placed it last week using a local anesthetic to numb the area and in about 35 minutes, the implant was in place and beginning to heal. Dr. Romzick had Zero post treatment pain, just like we anticipate for all of our patients. Here are some xray images showing the process. The first ones that are fuzzy are from the 3D CBCT scan that is used to measure the available space. The others, in sequence, show the developlement of the site during the placement process. The final image demonstrates the dental implant in place, nicely centered between the exiting teeth and well away from any other anatomy in the area.

The mulch project turned out pretty nicely if we do say so ourselves.
