Together, this with our bowling event last weekend, we reached a new record $62,000 event total!!! And you can still give thru Aug!

And, we got 7 doggies out of the Friends of Detroit Animal Care and Control shelter in our first Bark & Bowl adoption event!!!

National Bowling Day - grab a game for only $3 each and shoe rental for $2 each from 11 am - 3 pm. Open for everyone to participate.

Adoption Event - take home your new furry, best friend. Open to the public from 11 am - 2 pm.

Bowl 4 Animal Rescue - raising money for the animals in need while having fun. Starts at 7 pm. Advanced registration is needed. Come to watch for free and participate in the auctions.

I wish I could have take pics, but none would have captured the experience of going into the Thumb Correctional Facility to witness the prisoners training the rescue dogs of the Blue Star Service Dogs to become service dogs for Veterans and First Responders. Learned it is a privilege to qualify to get this high paying job. $50/week. Trainer, Matt and the inmates were amazing with these dogs; some learning love for the first time. Some will never ever leave the facility. Forever different for the experience. Help me help them if you can ❤️
