If you have a heat pump, we highly recommend switching your thermostat to emergency heat throughout this next week of highs in the 20s and 30s. Heat pumps, especially the non high efficiency ones, are good until temps get down to mid 30s, then they typically can't keep up, causing auxiliary strips to come on anyway, and also can accumulate heavier frost on the coil than the defrost cycle can handle.
