Whew just woke up and yall wasn't playin bout EEC! Lol Island delight is owned by a lady who has ALWAYS helped us (myself, chef zolo, and chef hefe) with private dinings and catering when we would be double or
triple booked for gigs. She has her own business, own brand.
With that being said we have ALWAYS supported other businesses, and fellow chefs, thats just who we are. I can see how confusing it seems with us not being open but no one is in anyway hijacking EEC 😂my bro and friend Bryant (chef hefe) built this business with his passion and vision, and thats just the way it will remain. Those of you who have had private dinings, catered events such as weddings, baby showers etc. Have met Ms. Xavier, if you visited the truck you may have met myself or Chef zolo. anywho woke up saw yall standing 10 toes down and wanted to ease your minds but also thank yall cause I swear we aaaalways knew we had the best customers 😂like I said yall don't play bout us and we didn't play bout yall! lol. I could never have anyone other than chef zolo cook under my brothers name, he's the one that is trained to do so and would do so with honor. Good afternoon. I wanted to clear up the CRAZY stories/gossip I have heard. I have been getting calls and msgs. For 4 days so let's get it out the way. Now If you knew Chef Hefe in a business sense, or maybe even Bryant from a personal stance. God forbid if you knew him as bro. Cousin, uncle, or friend if u knew him at all , even a little bit then you knew he was a professional and took his craft seriously!!! No Cap No games He was a beast at what he did PERIOD!! There is under NO circumstances that he accidentally burnt himself up!!! He did not fall in grease, blow up his kitchen, Or whatever else is floating around. And that's just to name a few of the ones I've heard.....On Friday 3/24th Chef was assaulted by having hot grease doused on his physical body. He succumbed to his injuries 4/18.....So yes he was murdered.... This is an active case that is all I will say at this time, however I refused to let that be the horrible misconception that somehow he did this to himself....Idk where that rumor started but I pray this deads it once and for all. His wife is finalizing the arrangements and I will post a link sharing the info for the funeral home at that time. Thank you for the ones that have donated to his cashapp for his wife and daughter, and even those who have just sent prayers and condolences. Please continue to pray for strength and guidance. It fills my heart to know so many loved him, thank you so much 4 loving him like he loved yall. His passion gave him life and yall were a part of that. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. My brother, our brother, our friend, Chef Hefe fought hard like the warrior he was, but has went on to rest now. Thank you for all of your prayers, condolences and love shown to him in these last few weeks.
