We have had numerous people asking for herbal smokes to make a come back in the store so here we are! You asked, we made it happen! It is with a heavy heart that we have to look for a new home for our ferrets 💔. Details are included below. We would love for one of our customers to be that home for them so we are posting them here in the hopes that someone will love them the way we do.

I have three Marshall ferrets I need to rehome, I absolutely adore them and have had two of them since they were babies, with the third coming to me in 2023 as a rehome from a friend that bonded with my pair. developing some allergies to them, I feel they would thrive with someone who can play more with them and give them a more stable living environment.

Location: Fayetteville, NC
Names: Dexter (2021 male), Trinkets (2022 male), Jinx (2021 female).

Diet: They all eat a raw diet and will not take any dry food or treats. I get all my PMR (prey model raw) food from rawdogfoodcomplete.com they also get salmon oil and vitamins as well. They do really enjoy gullet sticks and thin natural chews as treats occasionally.

Personality: All know their names and are mostly litter box trained. They all love to play, with the boys being much more routy, Trinkets can nip during play time but otherwise none of them are biters and I have had no problems with aggression or malicious biting. Jinx is the more reserved one, she’s very intelligent and enjoys just hanging out and exploring while the boys are the loud trouble makers. They get along great with other ferrets and dogs but are not the friendliest with cats. They tend to bully and chase cats.

I have two large two story ferret nation cages available as well as bedding & hammocks, litter boxes, bowls, toys, tubes, noodle bin, etc. Whatever food I have left will also go with them as well as any vitamins and supplements.
Rehoming fee of $400 for everything.

I would love for them all to go together as they are a bonded trio.

1. Thursday October 3rd we will be closed for some restocking/logistics work. We apologize for the inconvenience.

2. We have recently added Tarot decks from to our lineup! These fantastic decks are themed and numbered limited editions with every card being designed by a different tattoo artist! We will be doing an in depth review of the skull deck soon so be sure to keep your eyes out for that one. The one in hand here with the back of the cards is the Carnival deck (inkromancy 5). Be sure to check these out!

3. We have added even more Flavors of to our stock! Some of these sound so good it’s hard not to try all of them at once! We also have cold ready to drink cans from them in our fridge as well if you need a quick pick-me-up!

4. We got our hands on this awesome Mummified Jacob Sheep head (scroll to the end for pictures). This guy is very well preserved and doesn’t have a smell to him at all. A truly unique piece that would be an amazing addition to any collection for sure! Stop by and check him out, he may just have to come home with you!

5. We have had a few people reach out about our annual Samhain Gathering (The Masquerade). Unfortunately with the amount of changes we have had in our personal lives, as well as moving locations this year it’s not something we were able to do this year. We apologize for anyone looking forward to the event as it’s something that’s always been dear to our hearts as well.

With location changes and friends moving away it’s been a wild ride so far but we are so thankful to all of you who have helped make it everything it is today. We are so honored to be a part of downtown Fayetteville’s community and Fayetteville’s first metaphysical & oddities shop! The future is always open ended but we hope to continue to serve you all and our community for a long time to come! Blessed Lughnasadh!

Traditionally today marks the beginning of the harvest season! At least over in the Ireland/Scotland regions. Today we wanted to give a little history on the holiday and some ways you could celebrate it!

Lughnasadh is a Gaelic holiday Widely observed in Ireland, Scotland, and the Isle of Man and traditionally falls on the 1st of August. It is one of the 4 Gaelic seasonal festivals (Samhain, Imbolc and Beltane being the other 3).

The Holiday bears its name from the God Lugh and he is the Gaelic god of justice, war, kingship, craftsmen, skills, trade and harvest. He is also heavily associated with Oaths and truth and because of this, Lughnasadh is often a holiday associated with matchmaking and engagements. It is also often a celebration with horse racing, feasting, trading and athletic contest.

In Irish Folklore, Lughnasadh was founded by Lugh as a Funeral celebration for his foster mother Tailtiu, an earth goddess who died of exhaustion after clearing the plains of Ireland for agriculture. Another story states it was a celebration for his two wives Nás and Bói who were sisters, and others theorize it was just a morning or wake for the end of summer.
Folklorist Máire MacNeill extensively studied the later folklore and traditions of Lughnasadh. She concludes that the main theme is a struggle for the harvest between two gods. One god, usually called Crom Dubh in later folklore, guards the grain as his treasure. The other god, Lugh, must seize it for mankind.

So to celebrate close to tradition, some activities you could involve yourself in would be offerings of first fruits/crops for those of you with gardens, baking and sharing a feast with your friends and family, physical contest or sport, and of course its traditionally a perfect time for Hand-fasting and engagement!

New week new products!

We hope everyone had a decent Monday and start to the week! We got a bunch of neat stuff in the store over the last week including restock on crystals! So we wanted to showcase some of the more odd things to arrive 💀

For starters there’s this Gorgeous Female Eland skull that’s sure to look amazing in anyone’s collection. We don’t get our hands on these often and a lot of them out there are usually damaged but this one is fantastic!

Then there’s this adorable pintail iguana taxidermy piece that I absolutely love. Look at the little guy!

And then we have this unique zebra skull that is priced VERY affordable. He does have some damages that are pictured (bone section missing on lower jaw, hole in pallet on the top skull) but he’s got character and some very interesting bone formation on the orbital sockets. I’m sure he won’t stick around long!

Attention to all our wonderful followers! We have an announcement!

For over two years 220 Hay St. has been the home of Garnet Skull. We have made a ton of changes in that time and have really grown to love the spirit of our building and the love we have put into it. With a new year comes new changes and new energy and so we would like to announce Garnet Skull will be moving!

Fret not! We will still be in the heart of Historic Downtown Fayetteville! Our new location will be at 120 Hay st. And we plan to do our soft opening in mid to late March while we make updates and improvements to fit our aesthetic. We will be making big changes to make the vibe and store experience better over all! We are so thankful to all of you for your support at this location and look forward to serving you all at the new one!

In the meantime our 220 hay st location will be open until the beginning of March so if you haven’t had a chance to check out the store before, it’s a good time to do so!

We will be running a moving sale {20% off store wide} up to the last day in this location as well as lowered prices on many items so it’s a good time to come down and snag a deal on something you’ve been eyeing for awhile!

In the midst of a very sad time, seeing our wonderful neighbors and fellow spiritual practitioners at Pressed - A Creative Space close their doors, we have had multiple people mention a rumor going around about Garnet Skull closing. I want to clear that up for all of you because we care deeply about you all who have been supporting us in the last 2 years and 4 months we have been open. Many of you have gone from customers to friends and you are highly valued by us. So allow me to ease your worries

Last year was hard on everyone downtown, but We are not closing down!

In fact we are working diligently on making the store better in order to help you all with the supplies for all your spiritual practice and collection needs. We will keep updates flowing as new additions and changes are made, and thank you to all who have reached out with concern on this subject. Be sure to send well wishes of luck and abundance to Ashley and Jon at New Moon Minerals (owners of Pressed) as they move forward to grow and expand their lovely business.

And of course, be sure to support the downtown community of businesses. We know as well as you, money has been tight in this ever changing economy. Always remember that these are small locally owned businesses and every little bit helps us to keep small business alive and well in our city. $50 spent at a large corporation store is not even noticed but it can be the tipping point of the day for a small business owner. You are putting food on their plate, keeping their doors open, and helping them to grow and better serve your needs by supporting and spreading word of their business. I speak for us all in saying, For that we will always be grateful.

Then take it easy in the lounge overlooking the garden while you build your own terrarium or paint your own mini canvas with friends old and new! After all that it’s time to make your way the garden, where you can take photos galore under fairy lights strewn about with a large real moss wall and fairy circle to commemorate a mythical celebration for the ages! Not to mention all the magical taxidermy and decor.

Lastly, the night draws to a close but not without a toast to good fortune, and the crowning of this years “Masque of Samhain” the running title for those who are nominated and win the costume contest!
