The task here was to fit a door into this pre-made hole in a basement wall. Because the wall was so thick with concrete blocks and wood sheetrock backing studs combined, I had to frame in more backing studs, oversized trim studs, build an oversized jamb, and cut the door down at top and bottom to fit under a built-in heat duct on the opposite side, leaving a six foot door. Not a standard door job in any way, but in accordance to customer request.
