Make sure to stop by the Elizabethton/Carter County Animal Shelter tomorrow from 4-6:30p and say hi to Mark Reynolds and meet some ADORABLE pets in need of finding their forever family. Bring items with you to donate to the pets at the shelter for this Christmas. When you donate an item in person, you will be registered to win a $250 Visa gift card courtesy of Local Orthodontics. The live drawing for the gift card will be at 6p.

Our Tails and Paws Holiday Drive is going to the Elizabethton-Carter County Animal Shelter on Tuesday, December 19th. I will be there live from 4-6:30PM. News Channel 11 and Local Orthodontics are calling for donations of pet food, toys and supplies to be dropped off at the Elizabethton-Carter County Animal Shelter this weekend through Tuesday. Here is a list of items they need at the shelter. When you donate an item in person, you will be registered to win a $250 Visa gift card courtesy of Local Orthodontics. Good morning! There is a severe weather threat across the mid-south this afternoon and evening. Our area is under a level 1/5 for isolated strong to severe storms late this evening. LIVE here at the Firehouse Restaurant until 6:30p this evening with The Salvation Army Johnson City, TN. We are raising money for our local community this evening. The phone bank goes until 6:30p this evening. The number is 423-342-3950. Every donation stays right here in our local community to help those in need. Had a blast walking/running the annual Johnson City Turkey Trot 5K with my WJHL crew! Kasey Marler was an excellent emcee and got everyone pumped! For not running in about 2 years with no training, I’m pretty happy with my time. I'm immensely proud of our producer Ariel and Kelly Grosfield WJHL for completing their first 5k’s both in under 45 mins! It was also wonderful seeing Josh Smith again.
