Congratulations RT. A well deserved recognition.
It's a beautiful day to get out and experience some architecture. We are looking forward to summer weather at KSA.
We welcome Jason Puetz to the KSA Team!
Jason joined KSA Architecture in early 2022, relocating to NWA from Bluffton, South Carolina with his family. He graduated cm laude from Savannah College of Art & Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Furniture Design, with a Minor in Architecture, in 2018. Jason brings skills in architectural design and furniture design as well as project managing experience.
Jason is a native of South Dakota and a United States Marine Corps veteran. He achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant in the Marines and served four tours of duty in Iraq during his twelve years of service from 2001-2013.
Most of his free time outdoors with his wife, two daughters, and two Siberian Huskies. When he is not out exploring all that NWA has to offer you will likely find him building something in his garage/woodshop.
One of the best things about being an architect is the layered process of drawings. They start out messy and unorganized and the concept begins to take shape into building design!
Dreaming about enjoying some warmer weather on the horizon!
"The designer does not begin with some preconceived idea. Rather, the idea is the result of careful study and observation, and the design a product of that idea." - Paul Rand
"Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter." - Martin Luther King Jr.
The new Arkansas Valley Electric headquarters stands like a beacon on the hill for their community in Ozark, AR. After outgrowing their existing facility, KSA lead AVEC in designing a functional and quality work environment to efficiently serve their cooperative members.
In 2004, a group of highly successful business owners created an alliance – Legacy National Bank. We were called upon to create an atmosphere representing the spirit, vision and culture the founders sought - “A true community bank.”
Happy New Year from our business to yours. Raise a toast to yesterdays achievements and tomorrows brighter future!
Jason is surely missed from our KSA Family. Join us to celebrate his life, January 15, 2022 at Heroncrest Event Center.
“You gave us a building that has exceeded our grandest dreams and that truly delights all who have visited.”
–Carol Hart, Executive Director, Life Styles, Inc
"As an architect, you design for the present, with an awareness of the past with a future which is essentially unknown." - Norman Foster
Thanksgiving is a time of togetherness and gratitude. Take some time out of today to spend with your loved ones. Happy Thanksgiving from KSA!
Whatever good things we build end up building us.
A building project is not about having a large team to manage. It is about having a small team with the right people on it.
We are deeply saddened to share the loss of our friend and colleague, Jason Shireman.
Jason officially joined KSA Architecture in 2011, though he has been a part of the KSA family for many, many years. His roll was to assist the firm with on-site construction administration and quality control. He had over 40 years of experience in a wide range of building types and scales – from high-end, single family residential to large-scale corporate commercial and many others. Jason was experienced in various disciplines of the construction arts including swimming pools, wood and metal framing, metal fabrication and finish carpentry. A self-described “gearhead,” Jason’s hobbies included hotrod cars in addition to long-range shooting and sailing.
Our hearts are heavy, and Jason will surely be missed.
A celebration of life will be shared at a later date.

KSA is proud to have been a part of the new Sycamore Springs Senior Living, now serving its community in Mountain Home, AR.
It can be great to sit back and look upon a past project. Not only to make use of the design methods that worked, but also to learn from the ones that could have been more efficient.
“After a great experience working with KSA on our main bank, we were confident similar success would be reached for our branch buildings. Our expectations were exceeded. They provided sincere collaborative leadership and achieved an inspiring environment conveying the strong conviction of our brand, values, culture and goals.”
– Patrick Swope, CEO
KSA is honored to be a part of Legacy National Bank’s success and remains involved in developing their brand.
Behind the masterpiece lie the many failed attempts it took to create it. Design is all about iteration; the more time you spend solving the problems in a design, the more efficient your outcome will be.
"Work smarter, not harder." - Garth Hudgins
Happy Labor Day to all the smart-workers from KSA.
An international drill bit manufacturing company, Brunner and Lay, relocated its headquarters from Chicago to Springdale, Arkansas. KSA was asked to help reimagine their corporate brand as well as design a new state-of-the-art international headquarters. The design details were inspired by the products they make.
