BUBBLES! Mrs. Sappington's 9th grade Biology class completes a bubble lab, simulating the 3 survivorship curves for a unit on Ecology.

Steam Rocks! Ms. Shafer's 2nd grade STEAM classes were introduced to igneous rock and volcanic ash today. Students were given the opportunity to look at rocks through magnifying glasses and identify the class of rock.

Congratulations to our current 8th grade class who received a Superior ranking for the 2024 Project Citizen National Showcase. Their project, Lost and Found: Child Abduction in North Carolina showcased their dedication, creativity and commitment to civic engagement.

This morning, Dr. Limberg led Juniors through the interactive history simulation titled Monumental Consequences which centers around the question "is art worth dying for?" This activity combines historical analysis, public speaking, analysis of different perspectives and sources of information, and lots of yelling and props.

AP Chemistry Green Crystal Synthesis! Students began a lab today that will take several weeks to complete. They synthesized a hydrated iron salt that they will further analyze in future lab investigations. Stay tuned!
