Hawaii became the 50th state of the United States on August 21, 1958, and we honored this anniversary with a Hawaiian themed party today.

In June, our excellent therapy team won the Golden Gait Belt for achieving or exceeding metrics for successful rehab outcomes. Shout out to our fantastic therapists for all their hard work!

Thanks to Amedisys Home Health, Gentiva Hospice, and Optimum for their generous support and assistance with her celebration. Here’s to many of Ms Willis’s favorites - more manicures, stories of yesteryear, and time spent with family and friends. Happy Birthday, Ms Willie. For two wonderful years, Florence has been a cherished resident at Carolina Cumberland. A devoted wife and mother, she proudly supported her husband in the 82nd Airborne Division. With her infectious laugh and sweet terms of endearment, she lights up every room!

Florence loves to visit with our staff, dance to the tunes of her favorite musician, Chubby Checker, and engage with children. You can always count on her to greet you with a spirited "Hooah, Airborne!" We’re so grateful to have her in our community! 💖
