Tomorrow is the big event!

If it is raining we will be in the education classroom indoors to the right once you enter the main entrance. We will have many activities for your children and family to enjoy!

What was your favorite spring activity this week?

Take a nature walk down the street or at a park. Pick flowers to create a vase of flowers or work of art the options are endless! We used the flowers to create a lion’s mane.

Items you need:
Flowers
Cardboard or paper
Marker
Scissors

Directions:
Find a small piece of cardboard or paper, draw a picture such as a vase and use scissors to poke holes into cardboard or paper. Pick up flowers or leaves and place them into the holes on the cardboard or paper.

Watch germination take place by growing a seed in a paper towel and clear plastic bag.
Directions:
Places a wet paper towel in Ziploc bag.
Place the bean on top of the wet paper towel. Lima beans work well.
Close the Ziploc bag.
Place in a warm sunny spot. You could even tape the bag to a window

Build a spring snack! Pick your favorite foods and create a spring treat.
Here's an idea.. make a caterpillar with celery peanut butter and grapes.

Go on a scavenger hunt in your own backyard! Create a simple scavenger hunt of items you typically can find outdoors. Make it a race who ever finds all items first wins!

All clinicians on the registry are speech-language pathologists or speech-language pathology assistants who have completed the Meaningful Speech course in gestalt language processing and the Natural Language Acquisition (NLA) framework and have demonstrated mastery of the information on the final assessment.

Everyone loves a good book activity!! Happy World Book Day friends!!! 📖📚

In OT we incorporate patient interests (music) with their goals (opening snack bags/wrappers and snapping snaps) and have a blast developing skills. This is a musical instrument made from rubber bands, connect blocks and tape. Improving finger strength and bilateral hand skills can be fun!
