Oftentimes, our Advocates are the only consistent, responsible, adult presence for the children we work with. Between changing foster homes and unstable home situations, these children need an adult with their best interest at heart, who shows up for them during a time when they need it the most.

This week, our Executive Director, Development Director and one of our Forensic Interviewers had the honor of attending the National Children's Alliance Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C.

They also met with Tennessee Legislators to discuss the critical importance of VOCA (Victims of Crime Act) funding. This support is essential for providing services to child victims of abuse and ensuring they receive the care and justice they deserve. Together, we're advocating for continued funding to protect and empower our most vulnerable children.

Today, we welcomed Melissa Amonette as a new CASA volunteer in Marshall County, sworn in by Judge Bussart. She’s passionate about being a voice for children. If you're interested in making a difference too, call 931-438-3233.
