Ginger and garlic are two herbs that can provide several benefits during pregnancy when used in culinary amounts. Here are some amazing benefits of ginger and garlic during pregnancy:
Ginger can help relieve nausea and vomiting, which are common symptoms of pregnancy.
Garlic can help boost immune function and reduce the risk of infections during pregnancy.
Ginger and garlic both have anti-inflammatory properties that can help reduce inflammation in the body.
Garlic is a good source of antioxidants, which can help protect against oxidative stress and promote overall health during pregnancy.
Ginger and garlic can add delicious flavor to your meals and make healthy eating during pregnancy more enjoyable.
It's important to remember that while ginger and garlic are generally considered safe to consume in culinary amounts, excessive intake or use of supplements should be avoided during pregnancy, as it may cause uterine contractions and potentially lead to preterm labor. As with any herb or supplement, it's always best to consult with a healthcare provider before consuming ginger and garlic during pregnancy.
Incorporating ginger and garlic into your meals during pregnancy can provide a flavorful and healthy addition to your diet. So, add some ginger and garlic to your dishes and enjoy the amazing benefits! ๐ฟ๐

Today, we observe the International Day to End Obstetric Fistula. This day is dedicated to raising awareness about obstetric fistula, a devastating childbirth injury that affects millions of women and girls around the world.
Obstetric fistula is a preventable and treatable injury that occurs during prolonged or obstructed labor, which can cause severe damage to the pelvic organs, leading to chronic incontinence, social isolation, and profound emotional and physical suffering.
At the heart of this issue are the disparities in access to quality maternal healthcare and the high prevalence of child marriage, gender inequality, and poverty, which leave women and girls vulnerable to this preventable and devastating childbirth injury.
On this day, let us come together to support and uplift the voices of women and girls affected by obstetric fistula, and call for urgent action to improve maternal healthcare, promote gender equality, and empower women and girls to realize their rights to safe, dignified, and respectful childbirth.
We can all make a difference by supporting organizations working to end obstetric fistula, raising awareness about this issue, and advocating for policies and programs that promote maternal health and gender equality. Together, we can end obstetric fistula and ensure that every woman and girl can access the quality maternal healthcare they deserve. ๐

May support breast milk production: Sage is believed to have properties that can support breast milk production, although more research is needed to confirm this effect.
There are Herbs that might potentially harm your baby, such as autumn crocus, mugwort (safe for moxibustion but not for ingestion), pokeroot and sassafras.
The following Herbs have other toxic effects; comfrey and mistletoe.
