Meet Dr. (COL) James W. Turonis!
Dr. Turonis was born in Newark, New Jersey but grew up in Honesdale, Pennsylvania. He attended the University of Scranton, PA and was awarded a 2-year R.O.T.C scholarship in 1984. He then went on to Columbia University’s School of Dental Medicine and upon graduation entered the United States Army Dental Corps.
He is an active member of the American Dental Society, the International College of Dentists, the American Academy of Periodontology, and is Board Certified by the American Board of Periodontology. He is also the recipient of the Army Medical Departments, Order of Military Medical Merit.
In his spare time, Dr. Turonis enjoys fishing, playing golf, and maximizing time with his wife, Lynn, and his three children, Noah, Kira, and Emma.
