During the past week, your canine unit spent the week getting recertified. In order to receive recertification the K9 teams had to show proficiency in several disciplines, including: obedience, tracking, evidence and article detection, open area searches for suspects, narcotics detection (vehicles, buildings and open areas), building searches for suspects, and aggression and handler protection. All three teams received their certification for another year. Congratulations to Ofc Keiser and K9 Kojak, Ofc Clouse and K9 Champ and Ofc May and K9 Mayne.

Special mention and thanks to Brian Dowdy with Dowdy Dawgs, Mo Huggins with K9 OTC, Mark Boggs with K9 Unleashed and Trey and Chelcee Moore for the insights, training and pics and videos and for all the decoy work. You all are amazing.
