Meet Patty Mayonnaise and CarrotTop , two adorable kittens are the best of friends, and they’re hoping to find a family who will welcome them both.

**Patty** was born on the streets of Indianapolis, but she was lucky enough to be taken in at just a few weeks old, along with her siblings. She quickly became social and made fast friends with **CarrotTop**, who was brought to ARPO as a tiny kitten, just 7-10 days old. CarrotTop was found alone with an injured leg, but after joining Patty’s litter, the two became inseparable. CarrotTop’s leg was eventually amputated, but that hasn’t slowed her down one bit—she now runs like she’s got new shoes!

Patty and CarrotTop love to wrestle, run, play, and snuggle up for naps together. They’ve seen all their friends go to forever homes in pairs, and now it’s their turn! Could you be the one to give them the loving home they deserve?

Both kittens are spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and up to date on vaccinations.

Adopt A Pair! 💕 Periwinkle and his sister, Penumbra, share a very special bond. When separated, they cry until reunited. Periwinkle and Penumbra love to wrestle and chase each other, and they haven't met a toy they didn't like. When they aren't busy playing, they enjoy cuddling with you and sitting on your lap, but soon they're off on a new adventure. Both are sweet kittens who love being petted and don't mind being carried or placed in a carrier. Penumbra is the trailblazer of the pair. Curious and adventurous, she can't resist exploring new territory, always followed closely by Periwinkle. Penumbra is very fast and can dart out a door, sometimes from clear across the room. Periwinkle, on the other hand, is a lover who purrs as soon as you pick him up. He might even give you a kiss or rub his face on your cheek.

Their journey to ARPO was marked by both tragedy and good fortune. Their momma cat, who had been doing her best to care for them, was hit by a car, leaving the kittens to fend for themselves. An 11-year-old girl found and cared for them until she asked ARPO to take over and find them good homes. You will love Penumbra with her white bib and boots, and Periwinkle has beautiful markings and the cutest little spots on his belly!

Periwinkle and Penumbra need to be adopted together. Their birthdate is 5/13/24.

Here are some of the sweet faces we've been helping through a very tough kitten season. ARPO has had 6 cases of panleukopenia this season (the cat equivalent of dog parvo), and right now, 5 of our foster homes are in need of cleaning supplies. This illness is so contagious that if items can't be safely sanitized, they have to be thrown away. This means we've had to toss blankets, carriers, cat trees, playpens, and more.

We’re asking for help to replenish these supplies. We’ve added many needed items to our wishlist, including baby food, which is sometimes the only thing very sick kittens will eat. These supplies are crucial for us to safely welcome new fosters into our homes in the future.

Duke and Beau are looking for their forever homes! 💕
We are Irish Wolfhound puppies with hearts as big as our paws. We are affectionate rescue pups who love nothing more than being by your side. We were rescued from a kill shelter and have been fostered in the same house since we were approximately 10 weeks old. We both are mischievous (hide your shoes!), playful puppies, but also have a calm and relaxed demeanor and love to snuggle up with our people. We love all toys, especially anything that squeaks or when we can play tug-of-war with someone. We are both ALL PUPPY and will need some patience learning a new house, but both of us are willing and eager to listen and learn. Our foster home has several animals, and we're great with people of all ages, and we really love the company of other dogs.
We really want to be part of our forever 'pack' and will learn how our new pup siblings (or cat) siblings like to play. We like to have our ears scratched, stealing items off the kitchen counter (which we're not quite tall enough, but soon...The vet said at our 13 week appointment we will easily be a 100lb, very tall Irish Wolfhound mix.
We're doing my best to be potty trained and go outside. We are crate trained, and usually go to our crates to nap. Our foster home has a doggy door and a fenced-in backyard, and we have learned to use the door to let myself out and go to the bathroom. We are praised often, given a treat and catching on very quickly. We have recently started walking more with a leash and get excited when we go to new places. We are healthy, neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and being fostered in Brownsburg. Our birthday is 3/24/24

We wanted to share a glimpse into one of our foster’s current quarantine setups for her kittens diagnosed with Panleukopenia. She’s put in a lot of effort to construct a space for them, but all the hard work she’s already doing to take care of these little ones shouldn’t be any harder than it needs to be.

Right now, the kittens are confined to a small playpen, but with a gate, they could roam freely in their space while they undergo treatment. We’ve added a gate to our wishlist and would be incredibly grateful if someone could gift it to her. Plus, there’s a coupon available!
