My goal is to inspire or positively influence every person that I come into contact with. I feel morally obligated, to not only alter people’s smiles but to improve their overall health and happiness. It is my mission to share my experience in overcoming hardships in my own life which led me to realize my true purpose in helping others fulfill their true potential and become the best versions of themselves. I am the author of two books… Changing the Face of Dentistry and Your Destiny is Not Hereditary.

Born and raised in Flint, Michigan, I am a Powers Catholic High School graduate (class of 1991). I earned my associate degree from Mott Community College and a bachelor’s degree in Science and Biology from the University of Michigan. I attended the University of Detroit Mercy Dental School and graduated in 2003 with my doctorate in Dental Surgery. In 2013, I completed a two-year orthodontic training program with Progressive Orthodontic Seminars, where I graduated with the institution’s highest honors.

I am deeply committed to giving back to my community and enjoy coaching some local youth sports teams. Each year during the holiday season, I host a Free Dental Day which provides free cleanings, fillings, and extractions to those with no insurance. Additionally, I am an active member of the Grand Blanc, Fenton, Swartz Creek, and Flint & Genesee Chambers of Commerce. I am proud to have been named the recipient of several Community Service Awards and I was voted America’s Top Dentist in 2009 by the Consumers Research Council of America.
