Pretty simple.

Not only does it confer respect, it teaches them that we make mistakes too. Then they don’t see us as “perfect” and never messing up, but as someone who understands that life is t perfect and they do t have to be too!

It’s hard! It’s human nature to want to defend ourselves. I’ll say that again. It’s. Human. Nature. BUT, if we can pause and put some thought between our feelings, we have a chance to make a big change.
