Be the master of your brain.

Understand and meet your needs as they come up.

In the context of relationships we can both heal or continue hurting. The key is to stay aware of hurtful patterns and work on them as they come up.

Be aware of how your brain may be recreating earlier patterns.

Pain is a language. What's stored in our bodies will always ask for help. Listen to your body...let it vent, and then validate it to ease the pain.

Be authentic in your relationships.
Enter in with trust and honesty as a foundation ♡

Work with a therapist to help learn how to navigate boundaries for a healthy relationship

People pleasing is a trauma response that helps us feel connected and, in turn, makes us feel like we matter.
Unfortunately, when we ppl please, we don't assert OUR needs, which only reinforces that we don't matter.
Talk to a therapist to understand how to untangle this pattern.
