Update: Water services have been restored.

Jackson Heights Subdivision - Loss of water service.

Due to construction in the area damage occurred to a lateral water line. At this time the Jackson Heights Subdivision customers will experience loss of water services. Estimated time of repair is less than one hour.

We apologize for this inconvenience.

07/09/2024

Update: For residents of Brookwood subdivision. The discoloring in the water main has greatly cleared. We will continue to flush the main overnight to remove any residual discoloration. There will most likely be discolored water remaining in lateral and service lines. We apologize for the inconvenience this issue has caused. Residents should use the following procedure to clear their service and household water lines:

Standard Operating Procedure – Residential Flushing
1. Flush outside faucets first. Use a white container to view and determine when the water is clear. Turn off outside faucets as the water clears. This step may take up to 20 minutes or more to clear. Depending on the length of your service. The following steps should take much less time.
2. Inside faucets: Start with cold water faucets without screening/diffusers. Typically, a tub. Run cold water until clear. Again, using a white container to view and determine when clear.
3. Flush all other remaining cold-water faucets until clear. Again, using a white container to view and determine when the water has cleared.
4. Flush toilets until water in the bowl is clear.
5. Flush an unscreened hot water faucet, if available, until water is clear. Again, using a white container to view and determine when the water is clear.

Discolored Water Notification - Brookwood Heights

Customers in the Brookwood Heights subdivision may be experiencing discolored water due to construction of the new water lines in the area. Water crews have been dispatched and are flushing the water main to resolve the issue. We hope to have the issue resolved within a few hours.

💦Public Notice - Water Conservation💦

H2O Innovation has requested a water conservation effort for the City of Forsyth customers due to high water demand. The lack of rainfall has increased customer demand and depleted our reserves. In order to restore reserves in the municipal storage tanks, we are asking for these conservation efforts. This is necessary to avoid low water pressure and possible water outages.

Please adhere to the following request if you have a water meter from the City of Forsyth.

The request allows outdoor watering for purposes of planting, growing, managing, or maintaining ground cover, trees, shrubs, or other plants only between the hours of 4 p.m. and 10 a.m. by anyone whose water is supplied by a water system permitted by the Environmental Protection Division.
Outdoor water used for any purposes other than watering plants, such as power washing or washing cars, is restricted to an odd/even watering schedule.
• Odd-numbered addresses can water on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.
• Even-numbered addresses can water on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.
