What does it mean to be cavalry? It means leading from the front. Pushing yourself further than the minimum standard to meet a higher level of discipline. Task Force Heavy Cav 3-6 Air Cavalry Squadron conducted a 6 mile ruck March qualifier today. Troopers aiming to earn their cavalry spurs had to finish the ruck at a 15 minute per mile pace in the freezing cold.
Spur Holders Dominguez (left) and Pradhan (far right) motivate Shave Tail Espinoza as he carries the Troop guidon across the finish line.
