In 2014, Michael became an initiate of the Pachakuti Mesa Tradition and began a shamanic journey to understand himself on deeper levels and uncover the source of an unhappy life.

A few years later, waking up one morning with a stabbing sensation in the right shoulder that travelled down to the finger tips, Michael knew it was a vehicle for what the universe was preparing to manifest. Surgery was the only solution doctors and specialists provided for this injury that originated twenty-plus years ago, and it was not an option Michael was willing to take.

Michael turned to alternative therapies and found the calling of his heart. Having chosen the path of the Healer, Michael helps clients realign the balance of Soul and Body through the release of blockages caused by pain and fear. Drawing from the Shamanic wisdom of the Pachakuti Mesa Tradition, Craniosacral and Somato Emotional Release training from the Upledger Institute and experience as a LMT, he vows to use the gifts of his hands, voice, and spirit in service to the community.

Vibration trainers work to strengthen and stabilize muscles. They make the brain think the body is off balance, thus activating your stabilizers. They are especially great for the core, and can also increase bone density. We recommend using it before the sauna as it prepares your body to begin detoxifying.

Additionally, we have a rebounder. According to studies at NASA, the up-and-down motion from jumping on a rebounder moves the lymphatic system, aiding in detoxification. Again .... a perfect way to "prep" your body for the saunas to get the most out of your detox!

We have a bee update! 🐝

In case you don't know, we have our very own Thermae bee hives at Ft Lauderdale. We get fresh, raw honey that we use in some of our skin care treatments as well as for our teas.

Our beekeeper Evan from Happy Bee Honey Club maintains them for us, and has reported they are doing amazingly well.

Raw honey has so many incredible healing properties and benefits inside and out. It's a natural antibacterial, so it's great topically and also internally (perfect when you're sick) ... and it's also moisturizing and full of antioxidants, which slows aging.

We're so happy our bee colony is thriving. Next time you stop by, bee sure to try some of our honey (either on your face or in you drink) 😀
