Hello there! ☺️ I’ve gained a lot of followers over the last couple of weeks & so many of you are hairstylists, which just makes my heart so warm 🫶🏼 I want to get to know you, so let me introduce myself!

I’m Emily, here are some fun facts about me 🥰

🍂I love Jesus. I’m living this life and doing my craft solely to bring honor to Him.

🍂These photos are of my beautiful family, when we got them back they were full of light orbs. While I don’t believe in a lot of new age spiritual things, I can’t help but smile and know that our daughter Sloane is sending us love from heaven 👼🏼

🍂That’s right, our daughter Sloane died when she was 10 months old, but we love to talk about her and remember her every day. She was pure joy and love.

🍂Speaking of joy and love, I have been behind the chair for 15 years because I LOVE what I do. It brings me so much joy to make women feel their best and to help other stylists perfect their craft so that they can feel fulfilled in their careers.

🍂I teach stylists how to do extensions. After taking expensive certifications and still needing more education I made it my mission to bring affordable education to stylists everywhere.

🍂When I’m not working I love to garden, search for new Hoya varieties that I don’t have yet, cook a new recipe, or explore outside with my husband and three boys.

🍂We are currently on an IVF journey to have another baby. If it interests you, you can hear about it in my highlight reel on my page. We’re hoping our story will be an encouragement to someone 🤍

My top five tips for making your extensions last!

ONE OF MY MOST ASKED QUESTIONS during my extension consultations: will these damage my hair / will this make my hair worse?

I will always stand behind this phrase because it is so 👏🏼 true 👏🏼…are you ready?… EXTENSIONS DON’T DAMAGE HAIR, PEOPLE DO.

It’s true. Wether it’s a stylist that doesn’t have enough experience, isn’t paying attention to detail or a client who is missing the mark with at home care, it’s not the extensions doing the damage, it’s a person!

These progress pics were taken over 7 months, the first three photos are from the first day I ever did Lacey’s hair. She had some breakage from over-processed highlights that she wanted to blend out with one row of extensions.

The next 2 photos were taken today, and shows how long her hair got over that 6 months. Kind of crazy right? Do you see how much healthier her hair looks? It’s much longer, fuller, stronger and more shiny.

The last two photos were taken after her new install today. It was time to replace her hair and she moved from a one row install to a two row install to add length and volume, which was her long term goal.

Let me share the top reasons that Lacey saw so much success with her extension journey and experienced so much improvement:

What a huge transformation! This has to be one of my favorite color corrections I’ve ever done. It’s hard to know where to start sometimes but when I’m developing my game plan for something this big I always have two things I plan everything around, time and efficiency. I never want to cut corners that affect the end result just because it gets my client out faster, and I also don’t want to be so hyper focused that my client is in my chair all day.

This correction took a single 5 hour session. I balayaged all the hair that was previously colored with box blonde to a clean level 10.

After that, I did a crystal gel treatment by In this particular case I like to do the Malibu after I’ve used the lightener to open up the cuticle. I find the Malibu works better to remove any remaining minerals or slight left over pigment in the hair.

Finally I did a full foil with a smudge and toner and she was on her way.

We were both so happy with the results!
