Resident Artist & Gallerist Debi Crouse of has done it again! Created the most amazing & spectacular Boot Art for the
Lil Feet of SLC Auction. This worthy charity was established by the St Lucie Fire District to raise funds with which to purchase shoes & backpacks for area children. Local artists decorate & donate retired firefighter boots, helmets & fire extinguishers to this auction. Other art is also donated for same. Many garner thousands of dollars. They will be auctioned off on September 26, 2024 at the Riverwalk Center, Downtown Fort Pierce.

This boot is entitled “Mermaid’s Cove”. A tour de force of trinkets & treasures related to the magical sea. Debi created many of the fish & marine life from poured resin. As if this boot isn’t special enough, it lights up giving it an enchanting, mesmerizing glow. It rotates on a lazy Susan so that all sides can be enjoyed.

It will be on view at our gallery until auction time. Check it out as photography fails to capture its intricacy & magnificence.

This auction benefits the Fort Pierce Art Club’s steadfast mission to bring free art events & classes to our community. It’s historic as local art legend A.E. Backus “Beanie” Backus founded it in 1955.
Local artists create these masterpieces & donate same for this worthy cause. Some garner hundreds of dollars!
