Another office project in the books! Maple cabinets, solid maple countertops. 8 file drawers. I had a few finishing touches to do and my bride joined me to knock it out quick. Promised her dinner out afterwards and we found a great place! Look at that burger!

This kitchen!!! This one was unique and truly custom. Solid knotty hickory island doubles as table. Premium brass hardware. Quartz countertop with under mount sink. Dovetail maple drawers. Soft close hinges, full extension soft close drawer slides. Massive transformation from what was before!

Wrapped up this office build/install today. Tons of storage. 15 file drawers 7 other drawers. Soft close slides and dovetail drawers. Solid maple counters. Built Handmade Matter tough!

Face frames in paint process for an epic office build and some walnut desktop calendar card blocks making their way through the shop!

This unique build is a coffee table that converts to a twin bed platform. The top lifts off and planes out with the base to create a flat platform for a twin mattress.

Shop is an absolute disaster, but I’m making progress with the latest build!

Steel and pine combined for this custom TV stand. Square tube steel. Thick knotty pine shelves.

Custom dog shower with automation.

Coffee bar upgrade. Out with the old and in with some new storage!

Mantel makeover! Transformed this old concrete ledge into a rustic wood beam look! Just in time for the stockings!

Refurbished this old keyboard desk with a haircut removing the upper layer and adding a new knotty hickory top to replace the particular board and laminate.

This is the finished product of the custom pine rustic railing. The railing matches the decor well. None of these photos show the texture and antique treatment but I will hopefully post a follow up video of that.

Processed hundreds of linear feet of pine today on the table saw. Needless to say, I need to get the dust collection setup in this shop asap!

Put the finishing touches on this kitchen and two bathrooms. Grateful for the many family members and friends that helped me complete this project. I’m also grateful for this client and their trust and patience with me! Big, challenging project. But so fun! Thanks Heidi Merrick Kyle Merrick! I can’t wait to see what you do with the place next!

These two kiddos killed it for me the last two days! Big kitchen and bath install. My right hand man Nick Eagle was critical on some tricky parts of the project and install. Not only was my help superior this project, I really enjoyed my time with them all! More pictures and details to follow on this project.

Another productive weekend. This install went great. Many thanks to Nick Eagle for his great help today. Great project. Maple with Java stain.

Well, it is a slower and messier process than I anticipated, but still I’m excited. The unique way we built this building should ensure a super tight insulation envelope. Thanks to RR Buildings and Skilled Tradesmen, and Momper Insulation for being a part of doing it the best way possible. A few more steps and I say, bring on winter!

Well my wife was a bit skeptical but the task of getting the shop ready for insulation was made rather manageable thanks to my parents, Linda Grepke and my dad Mike, also Rev. Dennis Borchers and my mother-in-law Barbara, and lastly my wife Katherine Borchers Grepke and four kiddos, Nora, Caleb, Anne, and a small amount of Elyse :)

Several fun projects have been going on in the shop. Haven’t stopped to document much of it. Here is a random collection. Another barn beam mantle, a white oak mantle, maple doors, the start of bathroom cabinets, and the start of bedroom suite.
