Recommended but not required at least 1+ years of childcare experience or a CDA. No experience is also welcomed. Must have a High School Diploma, GED, or Transcript and a valid Driver's License. Teacher /Caregiver/Driver must have a love and passion for kids. Teacher/Caregiver/Driver will not discriminate against no child due to race, color, ethnicity, religion, origin or disability. Caregiver/Teacher/Van Driver must report to work on schedule. When performing assigned responsibilities and while in the presence of children you must demonstrate competency, good judgment, and self-control. Every child must be treated with courtesy, respect, acceptance, and patience and you must be able to recognize and respect the uniqueness and potential if all children, their families, and their cultures. Do not abuse, neglect, or exploit children. Teacher/Caregiver/Driver must report suspected abuse, neglect, and exploitation to CPS or law enforcement. Help with administrative duties is required while not supervising children. Children must be supervised at all times meaning that the assigned caregiver is accountable for each child's well-being and care. This includes being responsible for the ongoing activities of each child, appropriate visual and/or auditory awareness, physical proximity, and knowledge of activity requirements and each child's needs. The caregiver must intervene when necessary to ensure children's safety. Ages of the children, individual differences and abilities, indoor and outdoor layout of the child-care center, and neighborhood circumstances, hazards, and risk must be taken into account when deciding how closely to supervise children.'

Develop educational programs and standards
Maintain instructional excellence
Assist staff in communicating with parents and children
Meet with parents and staff to discuss students’ progress
Prepare budgets and allocate program funds
Ensure that facilities are maintained and cleaned according to state regulations
Some preschools and childcare centers are independently owned and operated. In these facilities, directors must follow the instructions and guidelines of the owner. Sometimes, the directors are the owners, so they decide how to operate them.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $35,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
