I was honored to be able to swear in Rick Barnes for Tarrant County at this month’s executive committee meeting.
A special welcome to all the new precinct chairs. I was especially impressed with Mary T. Nelson, at 21 years old she is the youngest precinct chair in Tarrant County.
Thank you precinct chairs!

From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Thank you for your kind words, your encouragement, and your votes. Running for office is one of the hardest, but most rewarding, experiences of my life. While my family and I are disappointed by the results, we are overwhelmed by the support we received and grateful for all of the friendships we made along the way. I'm proud of the race we ran and I'm grateful for all of those who supported us. I would like to congratulate my opponent on his win and wish him the best of luck. Thank you, again, friends. It has truly been an honor.
Today is the day!

Took a break from working the polls this week to catch up with two outstanding leaders and public servants last night. It’s always good to see our outstanding Sheriff Bill E Waybourn. I also enjoyed getting to meet Dr. Ben Carson. Grateful to both of these men for their service to our state and nation!
