We’re saddened to hear of the tragic passing of Zach Muckleroy, CEO of Muckleroy and Falls Construction. He was a fine young man, worthy competitor at times and a customer at others, and a real rising star in the construction industry in the Fort Worth area. Our heart goes out to Zach's wife, his parents and the M&F family he left behind. Rest in peace my friend.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the tragic passing of our beloved CEO, Zach Muckleroy, and his two children, Judson and Lindsay.

Zach had a charisma about him and the uncanny ability to light up any room he walked into. He had a charitable heart that made lasting impacts on the Fort Worth Community. He treasured his family and was a proud alumni of TCU.

He was passionate about the construction industry and led the Muckleroy & Falls team with a calming demeanor.

He will be greatly missed.

We ask that you keep his wife, Lauren, parents, Harold & Pat, siblings, Alyson & Steve Gasper, and David & Madison Muckleroy in your prayers.

City of Fort Worth

As part of a park improvement and expansion project, the City of Fort Worth needed a bridge to carry a new park road over sycamore creek. The 42' arch was designed to follow the roadway and support a stone veneer covering the precast concrete headwalls, wing walls, and pilasters.

The new bridge provided the look that the city wanted for its park entrance at an affordable price. We are proud to produce beautiful accents in and around the City of Fort Worth as the city continues its effort to better facilitate a safe and beneficial environment for all who choose to call Fort Worth “home”.

Speed Fab-Crete has been providing quality precast structures for more than sixty years. Over the last decade, Speed Fab-Crete has fabricated and installed numerous "large occupancy" storm shelters for schools for many different ISDs and "small occupancy" shelters for emergency services facilities and cities.

This video documents the installation of one double tee for a school tornado shelter "shell" near Dallas, Texas. This structure consisted of precast wall panels and specialized double tees that were designed on a "delegated design" basis by Speed Fab-Crete in compliance with ICC 500 storm shelter requirements and the contract documents for this project. The double tees were manufactured at Speed Fab-Crete’s production facility in Kennedale, Texas. They were then delivered to the job site and erected in approximately five days in October 2022.

SPEED FAB-CRETE AWARDED FOR SAFETY AND QUALITY PRODUCTION FROM NATIONAL PRECAST CONCRETE ASSOCIATION (NPCA)

FORT WORTH, TEXAS (May 10, 2021) – Fort Worth, Texas-based Speed Fab-Crete has been honored with two national awards from the National Precast Concrete Association (NPCA) for excellence in safety and quality production. Speed Fab-Crete will be honored during the NPCA’s upcoming “The Precast Show 2021,” taking place May 20-21 in New Orleans.

Speed Fab-Crete received the NPCA’s highest honor for safety – the “Excellence in Safety-Platinum Award” – for outstanding achievement in jobsite, plant and employee safety, and maintaining exemplary safety ratings with zero OSHA reportable/recordable injuries or illnesses during the 2020 calendar year.

Speed Fab-Crete also received the NPCA’s “Quality Merit Award” in recognition of scoring amongst the top 25 precast concrete plants in the U.S. for quality production practices.

Each year, the NPCA conducts a comprehensive review and audit of all NPCA-certified plants, and each plant is scored for its commitment to producing quality precast concrete products and improvements in product design, raw materials, manufacturing processes, safety, employee education, and customer service. The top 25 companies/plants with the highest scores receive Quality Merit Awards.

With more than 400 NPCA-certified plants in the U.S., this achievement ranks Speed Fab-Crete in the top 7% of all NPCA-certified plants.

“Producing a quality product in the safest possible manner has been our top priority for 70 years running,” said Carl Hall, vice president of plant operations at Speed Fab-Crete. “We are so thankful that the NPCA recognizes this and has presented us with two of their most coveted industry awards.”

Since 1951, Speed Fab-Crete has been well-known for its structurally loadbearing, precast, high-strength concrete wall panel building system.
