We are honored to collaborate with the City of Fort Worth, Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo, Grace Hebert Curtis Architects, and our trade partners on the exciting renovation of the Will Rogers Memorial Center & Facilities Sheep & Swine Barns, including a new arena addition and concourse. The unique schedule requirements of this project require completion prior to the 2025 Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo. SEDALCO took this opportunity to host a Trade Appreciation Luncheon to show gratitude for our trade partners' dedication to the project schedule. We sincerely thank everyone involved for their hard work and commitment to ensuring we meet our completion date. Your collaborative efforts have made this truly special!!

We recently celebrated a momentous occasion with the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Decatur Police Department. This marks the beginning of an exciting journey with our esteemed partners at Brinkley Sargent Wiginton Architects and the vibrant City of Decatur, TX - City Hall. This project includes a brand new 30,000 SF ground up facility that will house police, emergency services, and other associated departments. Highlights include new administrative spaces, briefing rooms, and evidence lab and storage spaces. We look forward to August 2, 2025 for the grand opening of the facility!

Last night, our firm celebrated an incredible client and dedicated project team during the 2024 TEXO Distinguished Building Awards dinner. We enjoyed a fun night and the opportunity to celebrate with other award winners.

March 20, 2024 marked a historic milestone for Waller County as we celebrated the groundbreaking ceremony for their brand-new courthouse! Designed by the renowned Brinkley Sargent Wiginton Architects, this historically envisioned 4-story, 60,000 SF building will be the heart of Waller County operations. The new building will encompass aesthetic features and details that will give the Courthouse a historic, 1800s feel.

This groundbreaking not only signifies the beginning of construction but also represents a significant investment in the community's future. We value our relationship with Waller County and are honored to provide continued leadership for their projects. We can't wait to see it all come to life!

A Perfect Day to Kickstart a New Project for the City of Roanoke

Yesterday, SEDALCO celebrated a momentous occasion by breaking ground for a new state-of-the-art police & courts facility for the City of Roanoke.

Many gathered as Mayor Scooter Gierisch blessed the ceremony, speaking about what this new facility will mean for the future of Roanoke and how it will serve the community for generations to come. Police Chief and Assistant City Manager Jeriahme Miller echoed the Mayor’s comments, reinforcing the importance this facility will hold regarding training and recruitment for the Roanoke Police Department.

Additionally, Ross Perot, Jr. of Hillwood addressed the crowd highlighting the importance of public support towards public safety and first responders in Roanoke, and the growth of the community.

We are honored and excited to be part of this project and this community!

Humbling and Rewarding – A day with 6 Stones Mission Network & A Night of Hope

On November 27th, SEDALCO volunteers spent a morning shopping for individual boys and girls in preparation for 6 Stone’s 2023 Night of Hope.
Our volunteers painstakingly shopped among the donated items at 6 Stone’s Winter Wonderland Toy Shop to find the perfect gift for each boy and girl!
To know that children in our communities may go without presents for Christmas is heartbreaking. We were happy to contribute to their mission and offer a Night of Hope to as many children as possible.

On November 15th, SEDALCO was honored to participate in the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Dallas ISD John Q. Adams Elementary School project. The school administration coordinated a memorable event at the current campus which included student speakers and the school’s own time capsule to be incorporated into their new school! When finished, this new 2 story 90,000 SF replacement campus will help facilitate their mission of “instilling a passion for life-long learning”!

1,300 LESS BURDENS, 1,300 MORE SMILES!

For the 7th consecutive year, SEDALCO was able to impact the lives of thousands of Texas school children through our annual backpack and school supply donation.

Through our continued partnership with industry trade contracting firms who share our commitment for giving back to the communities we serve, we were able to donate 1,300 backpacks filled with school supplies to 6 different school districts. Many of these backpacks and school supplies will reside in buildings that we’ve previously constructed, highlighting our commitment to improving educational learning environments long after our projects are complete. Additionally, we were able to provide school supplies to a worthy local Fort Worth child and family services organization who’s mission is to protect children and preserve families.

Great shots of the progress we're making at Abilene Christian School!

Exciting final photography highlighting the addition and renovations to North Dallas High School for Dallas ISD. Project specifics include a 37,100sf athletics and storm shelter addition and 200,000sf of major renovations to the existing 102-year old building. The addition included new boy’s and girl’s locker rooms and coaches’ offices as well as a competition basketball and volleyball gym for the first time in the 100+ year history of this campus. In the renovation, several areas were repurposed including an extensive expansion of the existing kitchen, repurposing each of the existing gyms, and renovations to the balance of the learning, fine arts, and performing arts spaces in addition to a completely new layout of the administrative and counseling suites. The athletics practice fields were improved including a new competition softball field and dugouts and football practice field with synthetic turf throughout.
