Painting an item can change the whole look and feel of an item. These candlesticks 🕯️started their life with a brass finish. I am not personally drawn to brass but I have had these for years. So… I painted them using chalk paint to get the look I wanted. What do you have in your home that could use a makeover?

Did something super fun today! 🥳 I took a lesson in pottery 🏺🪴I made two vessels. One is more traditional and the other I made was asymmetrical. I chose the color glaze, they will be fired, and then I’ll go back and pick them up. Definitely beginner results but I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. P.S. Patrick Swayze did not show up! 👻

Think outside the box when choosing containers for your plants. 🪴I used vintage crab baskets lined with Spanish moss for these pretty little accents beside my front steps. Popped them on shepherd hooks and … voila! 🧚
